• Electrical Site, Power Plan, Schematic, Details and One -Line Diagrams <br />• Instrumentation Diagrams <br />• Technical Specifications including concrete, electrical, instrumentation and functional <br />description <br />Five sets of drawings and specifications will be provided to the Owner at approximately 50 and. <br />90 percent completion milestones (total of 10 sets) for review and comment. The Owner will <br />provide comments to the Engineer within ten days of receipt of the drawings and specifications. <br />Five sets of the final drawings and specifications will be provided for the Owner's use, as well <br />as a PDF copy of the Contract Documents for bidding purposes. <br />Task 105 — Subconsultant Services <br />A. Geotechnical Services <br />Geotechnical exploratory work such as soil borings, penetration tests, soundings, subsurface <br />explorations, laboratory tests of soils, rock formations, and other geophysical phenomena <br />which are required to provide information for design will be performed. Up to two borings <br />will be completed at the project site to a depth of 30 feet. No bedrock coring is included. <br />A geotechnical report will be produced by a qualified geotechnical firm interpreting the data <br />from the exploratory work and testing, and establishing anticipated site conditions. The report <br />will indicate the types and performance of subsurface material that is expected to be <br />encountered, types of excavations to be anticipated and recommendations for footings and <br />foundations. <br />B. Survey Services <br />A boundary and topographic surveying will be performed by a qualified land surveyor to <br />confirm existing facilities controls and elevations in four areas at the project site: between <br />headworks and primary treatment basins; north and west of the compressor building; between <br />basins 3 and 4 to the reuse building; and immediately north and west of the chlorine contact <br />basin. The survey will also obtain current site contours and drainage courses; survey control <br />monuments; inverts and locations of gravity storm drains and sanitary sewers; and at grade <br />pavements, fences, walls, etc. Additional surveying services can be provided as a supplemental <br />service. <br />Task 106 — Permits Acquisition Assistance <br />In order to construct the required electrical improvements an electrical permit from the City of <br />South Bend and a Construction in a Floodway permit from the Indiana Department of Natural <br />Resources may be required. Black & Veatch will assist the Owner by completing permit <br />applications and providing drawings and specifications for permit submittal. The Owner will be <br />responsible for all permit fees and application costs.
