2. St. Joseph River channel survey along proposed piers at new pedestrian bridge under <br />Jefferson Boulevard and at proposed fishing pier near Pier Park. <br />3. Additional survey required south of Jefferson Boulevard beyond original limits of <br />Schematic Design. <br />B. The topographic survey will be such to provide a complete surface model, complete linework, <br />utility linework (from various sources), surface types labeled, horizontal and vertical control <br />(monumented and referenced), and survey notes and reporting. This proposal does not include <br />topography within the West Race, beyond the limits of the retaining walls along St. Joseph Street <br />or the east face of the Century Center, and river topography beyond the immediate areas shown <br />in the Schematic Design Document, The vertical datum shall be NAVD88. <br />A1.02 Geotechnical Evaluation <br />A. Earth Exploration Inc. (EEI) will conduct a geotechnical analysis at key locations along the West <br />Bank Trail Corridor. <br />B. Perform appropriate laboratory test including visual soil classification, hand penetrometer <br />readings, moisture content and grain size analysis. <br />C. Prepare a technical report which will include a summary of finding and recommendations for <br />geotechnical consideration regarding: <br />1. Subgrade preparation. <br />2. Pier or pile depths to support boardwalk elements <br />D. A proposed soil boring location map will be developed for the project site. <br />E. EEI will coordinate with the Owner to gain access to the boring locations. <br />A1.03 Prepare Construction Documents <br />A. Preliminary Plan Development shall consist of a 60% complete set. This set will utilize and build <br />upon the drawings prepared during the Schematic Design phase. <br />1. Develop proposed line work <br />2. Develop project Title and Index Sheets <br />3. Prepare preliminary Typical Section Sheets <br />d. Develop preliminary Plan and Profile Sheets <br />5. Revise preliminary quantities calculations <br />6.
