This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 9 pages, referred to in and <br />part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer for <br />Professional Services dated May 9, 2018. <br />s Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. <br />PART I — BASIC SERVICES <br />This project will provide plans and specifications for the creation of a multi -use pathway beginning <br />approximately 450-ft south of Jefferson Boulevard and proceeding to the north to LaSalle Avenue. Proposed <br />trails shall have a width of 10-ft and meet the specifications of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). <br />The Project will be as presented in the Schematic Design document dated January 2018. See Attachment A <br />for an aerial view of the project area. <br />Based on a meeting with the Owner on February 13, 2018, project areas identified for final design are as <br />follows: <br />• New ADA connection from existing trail south of Jefferson Boulevard to pedestrian bridge <br />under Jefferson Boulevard. Proposed trail will connect to Plaza Park but does not involve <br />modifications to Plaza Park. <br />• Replace pedestrian bridge under Jefferson Boulevard with new 10-ft wide structure. <br />• New ADA boardwalk from Jefferson Boulevard up to the Century Center. New plaza at trail <br />and West Race footbridge nexus. <br />• New Dam overlook and wayfinding north of Jefferson Boulevard. <br />• Revitalized Pier Park with inclusion of staircase leading down from MLK Boulevard. <br />• ADA trail from Pier Park to LaSalle Avenue with the inclusion of river overlooks as well as <br />fishing pier/boat dock. <br />Project areas identified as alternatives to be included in final design (subject to City fiends) are as follows: <br />• Gwen Stiver Park rehabilitation <br />• Improved landscaping and plantings along project corridor <br />• Trail and signage improvements to Century Center detour route <br />• Coordination with Adrenaline Edges for foundation design at new Dam overlook for potential <br />zipiine course. <br />A1.01 Site Assessment & Survey <br />A. LFA will supplement the survey acquired during the schematic design phase in the following <br />areas: <br />1.
