This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 9 pages, referred to in and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services dated May 9, 2018. s Services Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services as set forth below. PART I — BASIC SERVICES This project will provide plans and specifications for the creation of a multi -use pathway beginning approximately 450-ft south of Jefferson Boulevard and proceeding to the north to LaSalle Avenue. Proposed trails shall have a width of 10-ft and meet the specifications of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Project will be as presented in the Schematic Design document dated January 2018. See Attachment A for an aerial view of the project area. Based on a meeting with the Owner on February 13, 2018, project areas identified for final design are as follows: • New ADA connection from existing trail south of Jefferson Boulevard to pedestrian bridge under Jefferson Boulevard. Proposed trail will connect to Plaza Park but does not involve modifications to Plaza Park. • Replace pedestrian bridge under Jefferson Boulevard with new 10-ft wide structure. • New ADA boardwalk from Jefferson Boulevard up to the Century Center. New plaza at trail and West Race footbridge nexus. • New Dam overlook and wayfinding north of Jefferson Boulevard. • Revitalized Pier Park with inclusion of staircase leading down from MLK Boulevard. • ADA trail from Pier Park to LaSalle Avenue with the inclusion of river overlooks as well as fishing pier/boat dock. Project areas identified as alternatives to be included in final design (subject to City fiends) are as follows: • Gwen Stiver Park rehabilitation • Improved landscaping and plantings along project corridor • Trail and signage improvements to Century Center detour route • Coordination with Adrenaline Edges for foundation design at new Dam overlook for potential zipiine course. A1.01 Site Assessment & Survey A. LFA will supplement the survey acquired during the schematic design phase in the following areas: 1. Area within first (west) bay of existing West Race head gates and immediately upstream of the first head gate.
