Concerning the improvement of the roadway of eadie Street from <br />Washington Ave. to Linden Avenue in pursuance to'Resolution No. 1130 a petition having <br />been filed within ten days fromthe time bids were received by,'persons claiming to be <br />a majority in number of the freeholders residing on said street to be improved, and the <br />Board hereby refers said petition to the City -Engineer for his report as to whether <br />said petitioners constitute a majority in -number of the freeholders residing an said <br />street and this matter is hereby continued until the 5t.h, day of June 1923 at 10:00 <br />o'clock A.M. when the Bo%rd will determine the sufficiency of said petition, and will <br />let the -contract, or re ject all bids. <br />L. Sweeney <br />Clerk of the Board. - <br />Dated May 29th91923. <br />Concerning the improvement o the roadway of Sorin Street <br />from St, Louis Blvd. to Notre Dane Avenue with asphalt, asphaltic concrete, bitulithic, <br />concrete or brick, in pursuance to.Resolution No. 1136 this Board finds that no petition <br />has been filed with said Board .by a yea jority in, number of the freeholders residing <br />on said st:eat to be improved , requesting that it be improved with a different kind <br />of pavement than the kind heretofore adopted by the Board -in its prelininary.order, <br />and the City Engineer reports that Reith-Riley Comstuction Company is the lowest and <br />best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and the Board <br />find that the Reith-Riley Construction Co, is the lowest,and best, bidder and here by <br />.lets the contract for said improvement to them and orders that said improvement be <br />made with Sheet asphalt using Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in <br />this matter are hereby confirmed and ratified. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />Attested: - <br />Veronica' C . HONER <br />Concerning the improvement oftthe roadway of Pulaski Street <br />from Division Street to Ford Street with asphalt, asphalts°c con.crete, bitulithic, conc-` <br />Bret* or brick, in pursuance to Resolution No. 1135 this Board finds that no petition <br />. has been filed with said Board by a majority in number of the freeholders residing <br />on said street to be improved, requesting that it be improved with a different <br />kind of pavement then the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary <br />order; and the City Engineer reports that, the Reith-Riley Construction Co.'is the <br />lowest and best bidder for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board, and <br />the Board find that the Reith-Riley Construction Co, is the lowest and best bidder <br />and hereby lets the contract for said improvement to then and orders that said <br />improvement be made with Sheet asphalt, using Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings <br />heretofore had in this natter are kereby confirmed and ratified. - <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />Attested: - <br />Veronica C.
