Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the change order was approved. <br />Mr. Leszczynski submitted the Project Completion Affidavit and recom- <br />mended approval. It was noted that the total cost of the project was <br />$73,728.63, and the maintenance agreement would run to April 27, 1984. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was approved and the Main- <br />tenance Bond was filed. <br />FILING OF PETITION FOR RESTRICTED RESIDENTIAL PARKING (WEST NAVARRE) <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, a petition bearing 30 signatures requesting the designation <br />of restricted residential parking on Navarre, from Portage on the <br />west to Lafayette on the east, was referred to the Bureau of Traffic <br />and Lighting for review and recommendation. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IRREVOCABLE LETTERS OF CREDIT <br />An Irrevocable Letter of Credit on behalf of Jack Hickey Associates, <br />drawn on the First Bank and Trust Company in the amount of $800.00 <br />was submitted with respect to installation of sidewalks for Kensington <br />Farms East PUD. <br />A similar Letter of Credit on behalf of Donlon - Lofgren - Maenhout and <br />Associates Architects, drawn on St. Joseph Bank & Trust Company in <br />the amount of $30,000.00 was submitted with respect to pavement and <br />curbing at Laurel Woods Apartments. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Letters of Credit were accepted and filed. <br />APPROVE REQUEST TO ADVERTISE TO RECEIVE BIDS -.STREET SWEEPERS <br />Mr. Sean Watt, Director of the Division of Transportation, requested <br />permission to advertise to receive bids for two 1978 or newer, re- <br />conditioned dual gutter broom street sweepers, in accordance with <br />the specifications submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, <br />seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the request was approved, <br />with bids to be received by the Board at its meeting of May 11, 1981. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
