Gasohol 1.13 <br />Deputy Attorney Terry Crone advised that the Irrevocable Letter of <br />Credit submitted with the bid was a form of bid security but was <br />not the required or specified security. He advised that, in the <br />past, the Board has considered similar bids provided that the <br />proper security was received within a 48 -hour period. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, <br />Circle Oil Corporation was allowed a 48 -hour period to obtain and <br />file with the Clerk the required bid security in order that its bid <br />be considered. <br />Pierceton Equipment Co. <br />P. 0. Box 233 <br />Laketon, Indiana <br />No. 4 - 200,000 gal. #4 Fuel Oil <br />Bid was signed by David Nicol, non - <br />collusion affidavit was in order, and <br />a 10% bid bond was submitted. <br />$ .8003 <br />Smith Petroleum Bid was signed by Michael B. He stated that <br />a certified check was required. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, Amoco Oil Company was allowed a <br />48 -hour period to obtain and file with the Clerk the required bid <br />security in order that its bid be considered. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the above bids were referred to the Controller's Office and <br />the Street Department for review and recommendation. <br />
