REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 5, 1981 <br />Installation of No Parking, 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. - South <br />side of east one -half block of 100 West Colfax. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the above traffic control device was approved. <br />Installation of No Parking - South side of 300 West <br />LaMonte Terrace. <br />Revision to No Parking - East side of Michigan from <br />Navarre, south to Value House driveway and meeting <br />existing No Parking Zone. <br />Mr. Leszczynski explained that the above two devices were seasonal <br />and were put into effect during the winter months. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the <br />above two traffic control devices were approved. <br />Revision to No Parking., Except Sundays 10 A.M. to 12 Noon - <br />West Side of Leeper Avenue from a point 130 feet to a <br />point 445 feet north of North Shore. <br />Mr. Leszczynski explained that the above device was requested by <br />the First Unitarian Church in order to allow parking alongside of <br />the church on Sundays, Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried., the above traffic control <br />device was approved. <br />Installation of Snow Route - Orange Street /Colfax from <br />Walnut to Washington. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the above traffic control device was approved. <br />Revision to No Parking, 7 A.M. to 5 P.M., Tow Zone - North <br />side of 200 West Bronson from Lafayette, to a point east <br />approximately 100 feet. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the above traffic control device was approved. <br />APPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS <br />A request from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was received <br />for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following <br />lots within the city: <br />ADDRESS I CONDITION <br />716 <br />E. Haney <br />Brush, furniture, junk, G T <br />1125 <br />W. Indiana <br />Furniture, sofa, chair, lumber <br />714 -716 <br />Cushing <br />Litter, furniture, junk <br />2 lots <br />btwn. 1210 & 1224 <br />N. <br />Fremont <br />Furniture, dead trees <br />618 <br />W. Marion <br />Brush, drain pipes <br />3113 <br />Pleasant <br />Litter, brush, G/T <br />726 <br />Pierce <br />Furniture, G/T <br />1201 <br />E. Indiana <br />Brush, auto tire, lumber <br />303 <br />S. Chapin <br />Litter, appliances, junk <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the <br />lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF CONTRACTOR AND EXCAVATION BONDS <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended Board approval of the following <br />Contractor and Excavation Bonds: <br />
