McMahon <br />s/ Joseph E. Kernan <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the Board filed the reports from the Engineering Department, <br />Community Development Department and Area Plan: Commission and adopted <br />the above resolution setting the matter for a public hearing on <br />January 19, 1981. <br />FILING OF PETITION TO VACATE ALLEY BETWEEN 1068 & 1072 LINCOLNWAY EAST <br />A petition initiated by Stephen Krupnik, was submitted for the <br />vacation of the first alley west of Miami on Lincolnway East <br />running southeasterly for a distance of 151 feet; thence north- <br />westerly for a distance of approximately 96 feet to railroad right - <br />of -way. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan <br />and carried, the petition was referred to the Area Plan Commission, <br />Community Development Department and the Engineering Department for <br />review and recommendation. <br />FILING OF PETITION RE: LaMONTE TERRACE <br />A petition signed by residents of LaMonte Terrace was submitted for <br />the following changes in the 300 block of LaMonte Terrace: <br />1. That the street be designated One Way Only from <br />west to east. <br />2. That parking be allowed on both sides of the street. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the petition was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting for review.and recommendation. <br />FILING OF REQUEST FOR STREET LIGHTS - APOSTOLIC TEMPLE CHURCH <br />A letter from Reverend David L., Rowe, Assistant Pastor of the <br />Apostolic Temple Church, 2221 South Ironwood Drive, and a petition <br />signed by numerous individuals was submitted to the Board for the <br />installation of a street light on the first pole west of Ironwood <br />and Ewing, on the north side of Ewing. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was <br />referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and <br />recommendation. <br />FILING OF REQUEST FOR INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN BOWMAN & ROBINSON <br />Mr. Benny Courtney, 1638 East Bowman, submitted a letter to the <br />Board requesting the installation of a stop sign on Bowman at the <br />intersection of Bowman and Robinson. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and.carried,'the request was <br />referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and <br />recommendation. <br />APPROVE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS MARCH FOR LIFE <br />Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting, submitted his recommendation concerning the parade <br />request of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 553 for its annual <br />March for Life parade on Sunday, Janaury 18, 1981, at 1:00 p.m. <br />beginning in the Knights of Columbus parking lot and ending at <br />St. Patrick's Church, 309 South Taylor.
