The Clerk tendered <br />proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and in the <br />Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient. There was no <br />one present who wished to speak on the matter and no written <br />remonstrances were filed with the Board. Upon motion made by Mr. <br />Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Assessment Roll <br />showing $0.00 net damages and $0.00 net benefits was approved and <br />said resolution is in all things ratified and confirmed and said <br />proceedings closed. <br />CHANGE ORDER APPROVED - PURCHASE OF AERIAL TRUCK FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Chief Oscar Van Wiele submitted to the Board a proposed change order <br />in the purchase of the Aerial Ladder Truck for which the low bid of <br />Shamrock Emergency Vehicles, in the amount of $116,797.00, was <br />accepted. The Change Order covers the substitution of a 22" gated <br />Siamese in place of the 2Z" clappered siamese connection at the <br />suggestion of the manufacturer, and would increase the cost of the <br />unit by'$131.00, for a total net price of $116,928.00. Chief Van <br />Wiele recommended that the change order be approved. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the <br />Change Order was approved. <br />
