9 <br />REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 16, 1978 <br />AMENDMENT APPROVED - AGREEMENT WITH EDWARD ROSE OF INDIANA <br />Mr. McMahon noted that the Board entered into an agreement with <br />Edward Rose of Indiana and the agreement was submitted to the <br />Common Council for action on a zoning petition. The legal <br />description of the property involved listed approximately one <br />hundred and eighty feet on the west side of the property which is <br />already in the City limits. The agreement was amended at the <br />Council meeting to correct the legal description. Deputy City <br />Attorney Robert M. Parker handled the matter before the Council <br />and has now submitted the amended legal description to the Board <br />to correct the original agreement approved. Upon motion made <br />by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board <br />approved the amended legal description to be filed with the <br />agreement. <br />PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT APPROVED - PAINTING OF JEFFERSON <br />STREET PARKING GARAGE <br />The Project Completion Affidavit for the painting of the Jefferson <br />Street Parking Garage was submitted to the Board with the <br />recommendation of Patrick M. McMahon, Director of Public Works, <br />and John Leszczynski, Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, <br />that it be approved. The contractor was A. Hartke & Son, Inc. <br />and the total cost was $23,000. A Maintenance Bond covering the <br />work was also submitted, with the maintenance agreement in effect <br />until January 5, 1981. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Completion Affidavit was approved <br />and the bond filed. <br />STREET LIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS APPROVED <br />Joseph Pluta, Assistant Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />submitted to the Board the following street light recommendations: <br />Install: <br />On Twyckenham between Clyde & Woodside 7,000L MV 48.60/mo. <br />(six lights) <br />On Twyckenham at Woodside (3 lights) 20,000L MV 29.70/mo. <br />On Fassnacht between Brookfield <br />and College <br />7,000L <br />MV <br />4.80 /mo. <br />In back of 722 W.
