9 REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 16, 1978 AMENDMENT APPROVED - AGREEMENT WITH EDWARD ROSE OF INDIANA Mr. McMahon noted that the Board entered into an agreement with Edward Rose of Indiana and the agreement was submitted to the Common Council for action on a zoning petition. The legal description of the property involved listed approximately one hundred and eighty feet on the west side of the property which is already in the City limits. The agreement was amended at the Council meeting to correct the legal description. Deputy City Attorney Robert M. Parker handled the matter before the Council and has now submitted the amended legal description to the Board to correct the original agreement approved. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Board approved the amended legal description to be filed with the agreement. PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT APPROVED - PAINTING OF JEFFERSON STREET PARKING GARAGE The Project Completion Affidavit for the painting of the Jefferson Street Parking Garage was submitted to the Board with the recommendation of Patrick M. McMahon, Director of Public Works, and John Leszczynski, Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, that it be approved. The contractor was A. Hartke & Son, Inc. and the total cost was $23,000. A Maintenance Bond covering the work was also submitted, with the maintenance agreement in effect until January 5, 1981. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Completion Affidavit was approved and the bond filed. STREET LIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS APPROVED Joseph Pluta, Assistant Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, submitted to the Board the following street light recommendations: Install: On Twyckenham between Clyde & Woodside 7,000L MV 48.60/mo. (six lights) On Twyckenham at Woodside (3 lights) 20,000L MV 29.70/mo. On Fassnacht between Brookfield and College 7,000L MV 4.80 /mo. In back of 722 W. LaSalle 7,000L MV 4.46/mo. 100 E. Paris 7,000L MV 4.46/mo. 100 E. Elder 7,0001, MV 4.80 /mo. On 26th at Fernway 7,000L MV 4.80 /mo. 1624 Kendall 7,000L MV 4.80 /mo.
