2 <br />REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 3, 1978 <br />ANNOUNCEMENT - CITY PICK -UP OF CHRISTMAS TREES <br />Mr. McMahon announced that the Bureau of Solid Waste and the Street Department <br />would pick up Christmas trees in the City from January 2 through 6. Residents <br />are asked to place their trees where trash is normally picked up, either at <br />the alley or curb, and on the day of normal trash pick -up. If necessary, the <br />pick -up will be continued next week in order to cover the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION ACCEPTED - CONDITIONAL BID AWARD CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION <br />Chief Michael Borkowski advised the Board that the bids received for the <br />Closed Circuit Television System at the Police Station had been reviewed. <br />Funding for the purchase has been requested through a Criminal Justice Grant. <br />Chief Borkowski recommended that the Board make a conditional bid award, based <br />upon approval of the grant application.
