RE <br />REGULAR MEETING JUNE 18, 1979 <br />D. Remove Thirty Minute Parking Zone at 1701 Lincolnway West, <br />business located at that address has moved. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr, Brunner and <br />carried, the recommendations were approved. <br />TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL APPROVED - MICHIGAN /14AIN CONSTRUCTION <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended to the Board that the following temporary traffic <br />controls be approved during construction of the Michigan /Main <br />Connector: <br />1. No Parking - 300 N. Michigan, N 2 block, west side <br />400 N. Michigan, east side <br />100 W. Madison, both sides <br />200 W. Madison, E 2 block, both sides <br />2. REVERT ONE WAY TO TWO WAY TRAFFIC <br />400 N. Michigan <br />100 W. Madison <br />3. Temporary Reroute of U. S. 31 -33 Southbound to <br />400 N. Michigan and 100 W. Madison <br />4. Various Revisions to Signalization and Timing at <br />Michigan and Marion, Michigan and Madison and Main <br />and Madison <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the recommendati.onsvwere approved, <br />OPEN AIR.STANDS APPROVED FOR SALE OF FIREWORKS <br />The Bureau of Traffic- And''Lighting reported that it had reviewed <br />applications to operate Open Air Stands for the sale of Fireworks <br />at the SE corner of Portage and King Streets and at 1346 N. Ironwood <br />and approval is recommended, subject to the location of the stands <br />on the lots as approved by.t.he Bureau. Upon motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the stands were <br />approved for the period June 22 through July 5, subject to securing <br />the City vending licenses. <br />OPEN AIR STANDS APPROVED FOR SALE OF FIREWORKS <br />Applications to operate Open Air Stands for the sale of Fireworks <br />were submitted to the Board as follows: <br />1. Frank Perri - 111 E. Ireland Road and 1110 E. Ireland Road <br />2. Linda Mitchell - 3102 Western Avenue <br />3. Roy Brooke- SE Cornier, 2223 S. Miami <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr, Brunner and <br />carried, the stands were approved, subject to review and approval <br />of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and securing the City vending <br />licenses. <br />
