REGULAR MEETING <br />QUOTATION: $11,999.00 <br />APRIL 12.2010 99 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above Quotations <br />were referred to Community and Economic Development and their consultant for review and <br />recommendation. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Rob Nichols, Engineering, <br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, <br />Martell Electric, LLC, in the amount of $11,999.00. Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the <br />recommendation be accepted, and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell <br />seconded the motion, which carried. <br />OPENING OF UOTATIONS - COVELESKI STADIUM SEWAGE EJECTOR <br />IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 1 I0-008H (SBCDA TIFF <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for <br />the above referenced project. The following Quotations were opened and read: <br />EDWARD J. WHITE, INC. <br />1011 South Michigan Street <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Jeff Bucher, Jr. <br />QUOTATION: $3,900.00 <br />NIEZGODSI~I PLUMBING <br />232 North Mayflower Road <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Ronald Niezgodski <br />QUOTATION: $6,779.80 <br />O.J.S. BUILDING SERVICES, INC. <br />1008 Lincoln Way East <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Stephen Meyer <br />QUOTATION: $5,060.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr, Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above Quotations <br />were referred to Community and Economic Development and their Consultant for review and <br />recommendation. After reviewing those quotations; Mr. Rob Nichols, Engineering,. <br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, <br />Edward J. White, Inc., in the amount of $3,900.00. Mr. Littrell questioned whether we knew for <br />sure that quote price was per pump or for both pumps. Mr. Nichols stated that he was certain it <br />was for both pumps, but he would confirm that. Mr. Littrell noted timing is critical and if the <br />quote was not for both pumps, Mr. Nichols needed to go with the second lowest quote. <br />Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted, the quotation be <br />awarded and Construction Contract be approved as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the <br />motion, which carried. Mr. Nichols came back to the Board and confirmed the quote from <br />Edward J.
