<br />to .the center line of Lot 5 Turnock & Hartman's dub., under Improvement Resolution

<br />Upon the recommendation of VVm. F. Qualls, the Board orders the
<br />lights turned off in the parks and playgrounds to confrom to the winter schedule for
<br />same.

<br />j The Board of appra sors, Edward Pfeiffer, David C. Gibson and Willi
<br />P. Fury, filed primary assessment roll for ,the widening of McKinley Avenue under Condem-
<br />nation Resolution No.I903.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that
<br />on the 28th., day of December, 1927, this Board will meet in their office in the City
<br />Hall at 7-I5 P. I . , . to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
<br />has been affected by said proceedings and will decide whether the sevaral lots and
<br />li, parcels of land have been or will be benefited or damaged in the amounts named on said
<br />11 assessment roll or in a greater or less sum thah that shwon on said assessment roll.
<br />The Board further orders that notices be duly and legally given
<br />to all ovmers or holders of property, shoe=,ring the amount of the assessment or award, as the case may be, with a description of the property affected and the date of said
<br />hearing.

<br />Board hereby orders that on the 29th. , day of November, I927, this Board will receive,
<br />open and consider sealed proposals up to I0:00 A. ITT. Board further orders that notices
<br />of said proposals shall be published on the 17th. , day of November and on the 24th. ,
<br />day of November, 1927, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune.
<br />In the matter of the remonstrance against the pavement of the
<br />alley west of Maple Street from Napier street to alley north of Jefferson under Improve-
<br />ment resolution No.I959, City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, submitted a report as follows:
<br />"There are II resident property owners, five of whom have sighed th
<br />remonstrance. This does not constitute a majority, therefore, the alley should be impro
<br />ed. It
