<br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, remonstrators appeared
<br />but no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being duly advised in the premise
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvemen
<br />have been benefited in the amounts named on said primary assessment rolls. The Board,
<br />therefore, takes final action:on said assessment rolls, declaring same in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders
<br />said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
<br />for the pavement of Ewing Avenue from Miami Street to Leer Street under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I833.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but
<br />no,written remonstrance was filed and the Board decides to continue hearing on said
<br />assessment roll until November I5th., 1927, at I0 A. M.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was h d on the.assessment roll fo
<br />the Condemnation of Bulla Street from Portage. ►venue to Yedora Street under Condemna..

<br />In the above named assessment. roll, remonstrators appeared and a
<br />written remonstrance was filed by Harry Polis. After hearing all persons interested
<br />in said assessment roll, and being fully advised in the premises, the Board finds that
<br />j
<br />the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts
<br />named on said primary assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on
<br />li
<br />said assessment roll, declaring same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
<br />and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to

<br />Bids having been received for the'construction of a sewer on
<br />College Street from Elwood avenue to Keller Street under Improvement Resolution No.
<br />I954, the Board this 9th., day of November, I927, hereby awards the contract for said
<br />improvement to Edward Di Julio at . his . low bid of 4,204.20.
<br />The Board approved a plan for a driveway on Lot 7701d Plat for
<br />Heckaman & Heckaman owners by Whitcomb and Keller Contractors.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. .-Uray, filed plans and specifications and
<br />the Board adopted a resolution for the grading of the alikey west of Miami Street from
<br />Irvington Avenue to Fairview and a retaining walk to support a building, under ImprovE
<br />it
<br />ment resolution No.I975.
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, the Board hereby order
<br />that on the 30th., day of November, I927, this Board will meet in their office in the
<br />City Hall at 7-I5 P. 111. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property is liable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the
<br />benefits to the several lots and pardesl of land. liable to be assessed for said
<br />improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City
<br />j Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published
<br />on the Ilth., day of November arld on the I8th.,, ds'y, of November, I927, in the South
<br />Bend News Times and Tribune and that notices be mailed to. property owners according
<br />to law.
