<br />Bids having been received fDr the construction of pavement on McKinley Avenue
<br />from Greenlawn to Twenty-second Street under Improvement. Resolution No.I923, the
<br />Board, this 2nd. , day of November, I927 , hereby makes a preliminary order for sheet
<br />asphalt pavement as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved .and
<br />sets the I5th., day of November I927, as the time .when said Board shall either pass
<br />on petitions for a change of type of pavement other than that specified in the prelim-
<br />inary order, award the contract or reject all bids.
<br />The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds:
<br />Guarantee Bond for the constructionof pavement on Bertrand Street from Bendix
<br />Drive to Nangy Street under Improvement Resolution No.I902. Bond for 10% of the
<br />construction cost signed by Hoban and Roach and executed by Southern Surety Company.
<br />Guarantee Bond of Albert Construction Company for the pavement on Frances Street
<br />from Sorin Street to South Bend Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I864. Bond for I
<br />10% of the construction cost signed by Inland Bonding Company.
<br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, submitted a report on the remonstrance filed against
<br />the pavement of 35th., street frim Mishawaka Avenue to North Side Boulevard. Report
<br />as follows:
<br />"There are 29 residnnt property o�rrners on this street, I9 of whom have signed
<br />the remonstrance. This constitutes a majority and I would therefore recommend that
<br />no further action be taken in the matter.

<br />i; Mr. H. G. Wray, presented a petition forthe improvement of Kinyon Street, Anderso

<br />Street and Medora street with the following recommendation:

<br />"Attached hereto you will please find a peition for the improvement of Kinyon St.

<br />Anderson Street and Medora Street, representing all of the streets in the plat of Morri
<br />Park Addition.
<br />This petition has been preperly signed by 55% of the lot owners in the above
<br />addition and I would respectfuly recommend that the engineer, Mr. C. W. Cole, be advise
<br />that this petition bLas been accepted and that it is agreeable with the Boardoof Works
<br />for him to prepare the necessary resolution, plan and estimate for the improvement
<br />as above mentioned.

<br />The Board approved this recommendation of City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray, and
<br />the clerk is instructed to advise Chas. W. Cole that it is agreeable with the Board

<br />Assessment roll for the local sewer improvement on Fairview Avenue from Marine

<br />jIn all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and no
<br />written remonstrances were filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises,
<br />finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improve-
<br />ments have been benefited in. the amounts shown on said rolls., The Board, therefore,
