<br />Bids having been received for the construction of sewer on McKililey
<br />Street from 22nd., Street to Greelawn Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I9I9,
<br />the Board this I2th. , day of October, I927, hereby awards the contract for said
<br />improvement to John F. Hipskind at his low bid of $3,262.I0.
<br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Williston Construction
<br />Company for the LaSalle Avenue pavement under Improvement No.I8I2 in the amount of
<br />2,2I5.91 signed by Inland Bonding Co.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No.
<br />1957 for the vacation of the Ist., alley north of sunnymede Avenue from the east line
<br />of the Ist., alley west of Harriett Street to the eat.line of Lot 224 in Sunnymede
<br />Addition produced north.,
<br />In the above named vacation r emluti on, no remonstrators appeared and
<br />no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
<br />takes final action on said tapation. Ktsolution, and declares same in all things ratifi-
<br />ed, confirmed and approved and the alley vacated, subject to an easement right of
<br />Public Utilities.
<br />The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and
<br />holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to be
<br />injuriously affected by said vacation, said roll shall also describe property beneficial
<br />affected by said vacation. The Beard hereby appoints Edward Pfeiffer, David Gibson
<br />and Ed Neddo as appraisors in this matter of benefits of damages.

<br />Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Ridgedale
<br />Road, Avondale Broad, and Ridge Road in Ridgedale 4th., Addition under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.I868.
<br />Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Garland

<br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orde
<br />that on the I8th., day of October, I927, this Board will meet in their office at 10 A. N
<br />to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for
<br />said improvements and will decide whether the lots and parcels of land primarily assesse
<br />for said improvements have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls
<br />or in a greater or less amount.
<br />City Engineer, 11r. H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimates
<br />and the Board adopted a resolution for the pavement of the Ist., alley North of Marion
<br />Street from Main Street to Ist., alley east of Main Street under Improvement Resolution
<br />No.I958,.
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, property owners waived all
<br />objections on and in defense in said proceedings and to any violation in procedure for
<br />the construction of street improvements as fixed by law. WWhereupon the Board received,
<br />opened and read s eal ed proposals for the construction of said improvement as follows:

<br />Both of the above bids delivered to the City Engineer for tabulation.
<br />Bids having been received for the construction of pavement on the Ist.,
<br />alley north of Marion Street from Fain Street to Ist., alley east of Main Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I958, the Board this I2th., day of October, 1927, hereby award
<br />the contract for said improvement to the lowest bidder.
