<br />In the above matter`, re:non.strators 'appeared'And-a Written'remonstrahoe
<br />was filed and the Board being fully advised in the :premises','"finffs that-the'.behefits
<br />to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for sa- d ' improvement j
<br />will "equal the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board
<br />therefore decides to'aver rule.the•-iemonstrance against said improvement and`deelares,
<br />said improvement resolution Ivo,I934, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Remonstrance given to the City Engineer for final check up.

<br />In the above named resolutions, no remonstrators appeared and no written',
<br />remonstrance was filed,and�the Board being fully advised in the premises finds that the
<br />benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liableto be assessed for said improve",
<br />merits will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the :City Engineer, 11
<br />The Board., therefore, takes final action on said Improvement resolutions, declaring same
<br />in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without. modification. I
<br />The Board now orders that on the 27th., day of September, I927, this
<br />Board will receive, open and consider sealed proposals up to I0:00 A. ,I., for the
<br />construction -of the above named improvements. Board further orders that notices of
<br />said proposals zlkll be published in the South Bend !.news Times and Tribune on the
<br />Nth., day of September and on the 23rd. , day of 6eptember, 1927.
<br />City ngineer, I`r. H. G. Wray, submitted a report on the remonstrance
<br />filed against the pavement of Colfax :venue from yialnut to Birdsell Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution i?o.I924. Report .as follows:
<br />There are 7 resident property holders on this street, 4 of whom have'
<br />signed the remonstrance. This number constitutes a majority and I would, therefore,
<br />recommend that no further action be taken on said resolution.

<br />The Board, therefore .takes final action on said Improvement resolution
<br />No.M924, and declares all former action taken on same null and void and rescinded and
<br />the matter closed.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assessment
<br />rolls:
<br />Assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Oliver Stre
<br />from awing Avenue to Donald Street under .Improvement Resolution I8I9.
<br />Assessment roll for the g-radem curb and ,.-.alk improvement on Huey Street
<br />from feller Street to Idarquette Blvd. , under Improvement Resolution No.I820.
<br />1# all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstr<<tors appeared
<br />and no written remonstrances were filed, and the Board being fully advised in the
<br />premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land primarily
<br />assessed for said .improvements are equal to the amaiin'tdet,� opposite same on the
<br />assessment roll. The Board therefore, takes finl action on said assessment rolls,
<br />and declares same in all things -,ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
<br />closed,' The Board nowlorders said assessment rolls delivered ,o the Department of
<br />Finance.

<br />in their office in the City Hall, to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons
<br />whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide, whether the
<br />seve_= al lots ' and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown
