<br />The Board" further` orders that on the I6th., Day of November, I926, this
<br />Board will receive sealed- proposals for resurfacing Lafayette Street from North
<br />line of, al ley north of North Sore Drive to South line of Varggette .Avenue under
<br />Improvement resolution No.I755`. Notices _of said proposal to be published in the
<br />News"Times and Tribune on the 5th., day of November and on the I2th., day of November,
<br />19216.
<br />No petitions having been filed for"a change of type of pavement other
<br />than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Twentysecond Street
<br />under Improvement Resolution No 1742, the Board this 3rd. , day of November, I926.,
<br />hereby makes a. final -order for sheet asphalt as the type of pavement with which said
<br />street shall be improved" and awards the contract for said improvement to the
<br />Williston construction Co._, at their low bid of 6,533.92.
<br />No petitions having been filed for changing the type cf pavement other
<br />than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of the $th., d.11ey East
<br />of Michigan Street - from- Ohio to Keasey Street under Improvement Resolution No,1738,
<br />the Board this 3rd. , day of November, 1926, hereby makes a final order for concrete
<br />as t he type of pavement with which said alley shall be improver, and awarder the
<br />contract for said work to Hoban and Roach at their bid of 748.60.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were -had on the following assessment

<br />Pavement_on Magnolia Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.16I7.
<br />Pavement on LaSalle Avenue from Eddy Street to Sunnyside Avenue under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I6II.
<br />Pavement on Palmer Blvd:, from Sunnyside Avenue to East l ine of Madison
<br />Park Addition under Improvement Resolution No.I7I2.
<br />Pavement on Madison Street from alley east rf Walsh Street to Sunnyside
<br />Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.17I4.
<br />In all of the above matters, no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed and -Ater hearing sl interested persons and being fully advised
<br />in the matters, the Board finds that the benefits accruing to. the - several lots and
<br />1 parcels of land primarily asses -bed for said improvements are equal to the estimated
<br />cost of said improvements as reported by the City Engineer, and therefore, the Board
<br />declares said assessment rolls, filed October 27th., I926, in all things ratified,
<br />confirmed and approved and the -proceedings closed. Said rolls are hereby ordered
<br />transmitted to .the Department of Finance.

<br />City Engineer, ?"r. H. G. Wray, filed the following Assessment Rolls:
<br />Grade, curb, walk and pavement on Emerson Street from Mishawaka Avenue to
<br />Wall Street; Wall Street from Emerson '--venue to Harriett Street; Chester Street from
<br />Emerson Avenue to Harriett Street under Improvement Resolution No.I668.
<br />Grade., curbjr walk, pavement, water connections and sewer in C o4u.illard
<br />goods Addition under Improvement Resolution No.I652.
<br />In both o f the matterg, the p rope rty owners having waived all right of
<br />objeftion, and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that the lots and
<br />parcels of land shown on said rolls have been benef i to d in the amounts as shown " on
<br />said rolls and are equal -to the estimated cost as reported by the City Engineer, and
<br />the Board, therefore, declares said -rolls in all things ratified, confirmed and
<br />1 approved and the proceedings closed. Said rolls are hereby ordered transmitted to
<br />the Department of Finance.
