M... will meet to hear and receive'remonstrances from all persons whose <br />property has been assessed- for -said improvements and will decide whether the <br />benefits to the property assessed on said rolls -for said improvements are equal <br />to the amounts as shown on said rolls. Board further orders that notices of said <br />hearings be published on the 5th., day of November and on the 6th., day of November <br />I926, in the News Times and Tribune. <br />n <br />Board signed the contract with I. '". Staples for the construction <br />of a local sewer on Nash Street from Indiana Avenue to a point 462 feet north of <br />the north line of Indiana Avenue under Improvement Resolution'No:I740. Board <br />approved the construction bond for 10099 of the con#ract price, I,069,80 signed by <br />the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland. <br />Board also approved the assignment of the contract for the <br />Nash Street Sewer under Improvement Resolution No.I740 from I. Y% Staples to L'. H. <br />Webster. The constru tion bond also accepted in the amount of I1069.80 signed by <br />Fidelity and Deposit 'ompany of Maryland. <br />City Engineer, Yr. H. Hipskind, contractor, under improvement - <br />resolution No.I649. Board signed and approved same in the amount of 3,005.07. <br />Upon the recommendation of Vim. F. Qualls, the Board approved <br />the removal of lights #I062 and #I064 in 'Howard Park as the d rive way where these <br />lights are located has been discontinued. This means a saving to the city of 56.00 <br />per year. <br />Upon the recommendation of -4m. F. Qual is , the Board approved <br />winter schedule of lights for city parks until the opening of the parks next Spring.';! <br />Upon the recommendation of � m. F. Qualls, the Board approved bhe <br />change of the light in the center of the block between'Wall and Mishawaka Avenue to- 'I <br />the corner of Wall and Mishawaka Avenue, game ordered. <br />Upon the recommendation of City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray., the <br />Board apM owed the -grade of the alley west of Miami Street from Irvington Avenue <br />to Fairview t'venue. <br />City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Wray.. filed plans and specifications • <br />and the Board adopted a resolution for the pavergent of Fisher Street from Harris <br />Street to the 2nd., alley west of Harris Street under Improvement Resolution No. j <br />I762. <br />
