<br />In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the first day
<br />of September, I926, this Board at itls office in the City Hall, will hear and
<br />receive all persons interested in or affected by said proceedings and will decide
<br />'i whether the benefits and damages to property so affected are equal to the amounts
<br />as shown on said roll, filed August I8th_ , 1926. Board further order s that notices
<br />of said hearing be served according to law on all persons affected.

<br />contract price, signed by the Globe Indemnity Co. Resolution No.I697.

<br />T . T. Tranberg for the bonstruction of grade and curb on the north side
<br />of Almond Court under Improvement Resolution No.I708. The amount of the contract
<br />being I08.90 and construction bondfor I00�o of the contract price, signed by the
<br />American Employers' Insurance Co.
<br />E. T. Tranberg for the construction -of concrete pavement in alley
<br />between Dunham Street and Fisher Street from '"jalnut Street to St. Casmir's Court
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.I690. The amount of the contract being I352.59
<br />and the construction bond for 1001of the amount of the contract signed by the
<br />iAmerican Emplyoers+ Insurance Co.

<br />i Hearing had on the pavement of Jacob Street from Washington Avenue
<br />;i to T,1'cKinley Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I7I9.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance was
<br />filed and the Board therefore, finds that the benefits to the property liable to be
<br />assessed for said improvement, ire equal to the estimated cost of same as reported
<br />by the City Engineer, and the Board, therefore, declares said resolution in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />Resolution No.I7I9.
<br />In the above matter, no remonstrators appesred and no remonstrahceswas
<br />filed and the Board finds that the reneftts to the property liable to be assessed for
<br />said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of some as reported by the City
<br />Engineer and the Board, therefore, declares resolution in all things ratified,
<br />confirmed and approved.
<br />Board hereby orders that on the 3Ist., day of August, I926, bids
<br />will be received, opened and considered for the pavement on Jacob Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I7I8; also for the construction of a sewer on.Kaley Street
<br />under Improvement resolution No. I7I9. Notices of said proposals to be published
<br />according to law on the 20th. , day of August and on the 27th. , day of August, 1926,
<br />in the South Bend Tribune and News Times.
<br />Petitions having been received for the pavement on Victoria Street from
<br />Yffichigan to Fellows Street under Improvement Resolution No.I684, City Engineer made
<br />the following report on same:
<br />Ther6 are 2I resident freeholders on this street, II of .Thom have signed
<br />the petition for a change of type of pavement other than that made on the preliminary I,
<br />order. This number constitutes a majority and the Board, therefore, this IBth., day
<br />of August, I926, makes a final order for Sheet Asphalt as the type of pavement with
<br />which said street shall be improved and awards the contract for said improvement to
<br />the "eith Riley Construction Co;, at their low bid of I4,835.80. E
<br />Board approved the Excavation Bond for the Harry D. Perkins Co., for
<br />I,000.00 signed by the United States Fidelity and Gue.ranty Co.

<br />Pavement on Roger Street from Johnson Street to Olive Street under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.I728.
<br />In both of the above named resolutions, the Board hereby orders that
<br />on the 8th., day of September, I926, this Board, at it's office in the City Hall
<br />at 7-I5 P. ?`., will hear and receive all persons interested in or affected by said
<br />resolutions. Board further orders that notices of said resolutions be published on
<br />the 20th., day of August and on the 27th. , day of August. I9261 in the South Bend
