S. Based on the information contained in the preliminary design alternative documents, prepare an opinion of probable Construction Cost, and assist Owner in collating the various cost categories which comprise Total Project Costs. 9. Perform or provide the following additional preliminary design alternative tasks or deliverables for the identified project limits. The project limits along Lincoln Way East from 500 feet east of Twyckenham Drive to 500 feet West of Sample Street for a total corridor length of approximately 4,600 feet: a. Provide alternatives for design of multi -use path along the north side of Lincoln Way East within the project limits b. Provide a determination of guardrail need along the project corridor c. Identify preliminary right-of-way impacts for design alternatives d. Coordinate with the City and 1NDOT for concurrence on length of guardrail need. e. Identify constraints within the project corridor, provide design alternatives £ Provide preliminary cost estimates for identified alternatives g. Utility Coordination Services to include: 1) Initial Utility Research 2) Sending Initial Notice of Proposed Improvement to each affected utility. 3) Requesting Verification of Existing Facilities from each affected Utility 10. Furnish review copies of the Preliminary Design Alternatives documents and any other deliverables to Owner within 30 calendar days of receipt of the survey, and review them with Owner. Within 7 calendar days of receipt, Owner shall submit to Engineer any comments regarding the Preliminary Design Phase documents and any other deliverables. 11. Revise the Preliminary Design alternatives documents and any other deliverables in response to Owner's comments, as appropriate, and furnish to Owner copies of the revised Preliminary Design alternatives documents, revised opinion of probable Construction Cost, and any other deliverables within 14 calendar days after receipt of Owner's comments. B. Engineer's services under the Preliminary Design Alternatives Phase will be considered complete on the date when the revised Preliminary Design Alternatives Phase documents, revised opinion of probable Construction Cost, and any other deliverables have been delivered to Owner. A1.03 Right of Way Services A. R/W Management and Supervision The Engineer shall be responsible for administering, scheduling, and coordinating the following activities necessary to certify that the right-of-way has been acquired and the project is clear for construction letting: meetings, conferences, and communications with the Property Owner's), the Relocatee(s), the Attorney(s), the Engineer(s), the Appraiser(s), the Buying Agent(s), the Relocation Agent(s), and the Board. 2. The Engineer shall be responsible for a limited number of "minor revisions" (one that is completed within no more than two (2) man-hours) to the design plans, right-of-way plans, parcel plats, legal descriptions.
