S. Based on the information contained in the preliminary design alternative documents, prepare <br />an opinion of probable Construction Cost, and assist Owner in collating the various cost <br />categories which comprise Total Project Costs. <br />9. Perform or provide the following additional preliminary design alternative tasks or <br />deliverables for the identified project limits. The project limits along Lincoln Way East from <br />500 feet east of Twyckenham Drive to 500 feet West of Sample Street for a total corridor <br />length of approximately 4,600 feet: <br />a. Provide alternatives for design of multi -use path along the north side of Lincoln Way <br />East within the project limits <br />b. Provide a determination of guardrail need along the project corridor <br />c. Identify preliminary right-of-way impacts for design alternatives <br />d. Coordinate with the City and 1NDOT for concurrence on length of guardrail need. <br />e. Identify constraints within the project corridor, provide design alternatives <br />£ Provide preliminary cost estimates for identified alternatives <br />g. Utility Coordination Services to include: <br />1) Initial Utility Research <br />2) Sending Initial Notice of Proposed Improvement to each affected utility. <br />3) Requesting Verification of Existing Facilities from each affected Utility <br />10. Furnish review copies of the Preliminary Design Alternatives documents and any other <br />deliverables to Owner within 30 calendar days of receipt of the survey, and review them with <br />Owner. Within 7 calendar days of receipt, Owner shall submit to Engineer any comments <br />regarding the Preliminary Design Phase documents and any other deliverables. <br />11. Revise the Preliminary Design alternatives documents and any other deliverables in response <br />to Owner's comments, as appropriate, and furnish to Owner copies of the revised Preliminary <br />Design alternatives documents, revised opinion of probable Construction Cost, and any other <br />deliverables within 14 calendar days after receipt of Owner's comments. <br />B. Engineer's services under the Preliminary Design Alternatives Phase will be considered complete <br />on the date when the revised Preliminary Design Alternatives Phase documents, revised opinion of <br />probable Construction Cost, and any other deliverables have been delivered to Owner. <br />A1.03 Right of Way Services <br />A. R/W Management and Supervision <br />The Engineer shall be responsible for administering, scheduling, and coordinating the <br />following activities necessary to certify that the right-of-way has been acquired and the <br />project is clear for construction letting: meetings, conferences, and communications with the <br />Property Owner's), the Relocatee(s), the Attorney(s), the Engineer(s), the Appraiser(s), the <br />Buying Agent(s), the Relocation Agent(s), and the Board. <br />2.
