a. Recover and/or perpetuate adjacent section corners required to perform the Right -of -Way <br />Engineering <br />b. Monument and reference the survey baselines where right-of-way will be required <br />c. Prepare and record in the public records, a Location Control Route Survey Plat <br />5. The Engineer shall provide right-of-way engineering in accordance with the procedures and <br />standards as indicated in the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Division of <br />Land Acquisition Right -of -Way Engineering Procedures Manual as follows: <br />a. The Engineer shall prepare or cause to be prepared a Title Search pursuant to the <br />following: <br />b. All parcels, except Temporary Right -of -Way only parcels, shall require: <br />c. A documented preliminary title search covering an interval of time including one valid <br />transfer of fee title beyond a twenty year period from the date of the search, or <br />d. Temporary Right -of -Way only parcels shall require: <br />e. A documented minimal title search by a title company, or <br />f. A verified last deed of record search by a Board employee or Engineer. <br />g. Each title search shall be updated at the time of Right -of -Way acquisition. <br />h. Provide legal descriptions prepared and certified by an Indiana registered land surveyor <br />for each parcel. <br />i. Transfer documents for each parcel shall be provided at the request of the Board for the <br />review of an attorney. <br />j. Provide Right -of -Way Parcel Plats prepared and certified by an Indiana registered land <br />surveyor and tied to the Location Control Route Survey plat. <br />k. Provide a copy of the Parcel Summary Sheet, and the Parcel Computation Sheet for each <br />parcel. <br />1. Provide in the field Right -of -Way Staking using wooden hub and lath at the deflection <br />points of the proposed permanent and temporary right-of-way lines. <br />6. Utility mapping will be based upon information obtained from utility owners. <br />7.
