<br />NorthStar Utilities Solutions has been serving the municipal and utility market since inception in 1976, and
<br />our first billing system was introduced to the market in 1985. Since then NorthStar Utilities Solutions has
<br />continued to grow and now has over 300 customers throughout North America and the Caribbean. Utilities
<br />are not one of many markets we serve; they are the only market we serve.
<br />The customer information system we are proposing has a long history and has evolved considerably since its
<br />introduction. However, unlike other vendors, we have evolved and grown our CIS versus replacing it. All
<br />customers using NorthStar today share many core aspects as NorthStar is a configurable versus customized
<br />solution. What this means for our customers is a smooth transition from older to newer versions of our
<br />software and reduced costs. The following diagram shows the evolution of NorthStar right up to the release
<br />of version 6.4.
