CHRIS MELANSON
Chris has over five years' experience in the IT sector, most recently, testing and developing
solutions for Cogsdale CSM. His versatility has made him a vital member of the Cogsdale team
by providing expertise in development, implementation, documentation, training, testing and
support of Cogsdale CSM. Chris has a strong drive to deliver the best results for clients.
CLIENT PROJECTS
Liberty Utilities is an independent water, natural gas and electric company providing local
utility management, service and support to small and mid -sized communities throughout the
United States. With more than half a million customers, Liberty Utilities provides a superior
customer experience through walk-in customer centers, locally focused conservation and
energy efficiency initiatives as well as programs for business and residential customers.
Liberty Utilities' multiple utility services and geographic regions have resulted in varying
regulatory requirements and business processes. Cogsdale CSM has provided Liberty Utilities
with the needed flexibility to support their operational needs. This has been achieved via both
CSM's flexible setup and the institution of CSM customizations.
Waterloo Water Works provides retail water to residents and businesses in Waterloo, Iowa as
well as several small adjacent communities such as Washburn and Raymond and to
unincorporated county customers. The mission of Waterloo Water Works is to provide adequate
quantities of high quality water to the citizens for domestic, industrial and fire protection
purposes at the most reasonable cost. A water -only utility, Waterloo Water Works also bills
sewer, garbage, yard waste and storm water on behalf of some of its customer communities,
resulting in approximately 26,000 customer accounts. Waterloo Water Works chose the
Cogsdale solution as it fit into their vision to simplify processes and improve customer service
with data and processes that are streamlined, helpful and user friendly.
Experience
Education
Cogsdale Memorial University
Consultant Bachelor of Business Administration
Software Quality Analyst
2009 — Present Acadia University
Bachelor of Computer Science
Technical Skills
Windows 2012/2008 Server Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012
Microsoft Dynamics GP Cogsdale CSM
Windows 7/8/10 Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 HP LoadRunner
Programming Languages — SQL, C#, C++, Java, COBOL
