ADVANCE© <br />UTILITY SYST E M S <br />Phase 5 — Initial Configuration and Conversion <br />The City will provide a data extract to Advanced that will be loaded onto Advanced's <br />secured FTP site. Advanced will convert the City's data so that it can be loaded into CIS <br />Infinity. Advanced will create mapping from legacy to CIS Infinity, Advanced will develop <br />a conversion routine to reflect the requirements of the City, <br />Advanced's Conversion Specialist will prepare the Initial Data Conversion and <br />Configuration to be delivered and loaded onsite. The results for the Data Validation <br />parameters specified in the Data Conversion Plan will be included for review by the City. <br />Advanced will assist the City in identifying Baseline Accounts (approximately 150) which <br />are a representative cross section of the City's customers (e.g., rates, customer type etc.). The <br />baseline accounts will be used to test and QA both the validity of the converted data and <br />that the configuration begins to conform to the Functional Discovery document. <br />Phase 6 — Core Team Training <br />Advanced will provide, as part of the Training Plan, the specific training timelines and <br />topics to be provided and presented to the City, <br />The City's Core Team will be trained on Daily Processing, Cash, Billing and Collections <br />prior to the start of the Discovery sessions. This training is typically conducted over two <br />weeks. This training will help ensure that the basic functionality of CIS Infinity is <br />understood prior to the Discovery Sessions. After the Discovery sessions, the City's Core <br />Team will complete training on all other areas of CIS Infinity. This training is typically <br />conducted over three weeks. A full training syllabus is included in the Training Plan. <br />Core Team training will show all aspects of CIS Infinity functions to introduce the City to <br />alternative methods to operate the CIS Solution and to document proposed changes to <br />existing business processes. Each Core Team training session will include the City's subject <br />matter experts to ensure that business objectives are met. Core Team training will also <br />include the Issues Tracking Tool tracking tool, <br />Additionally, Core Team Training will cover Client Owned Control Forms that the City will <br />be responsible for configuring in preparation for Testing and Go Live (e.g. Security, System <br />Administration, Letters, Actions, Service Order Generation, etc.). <br />During training sessions, the City will document any potentialIy new processes. Any system <br />bugs, set up issues, conversion issues and deficiencies shall be entered in the Issues Tracking <br />Tool by the City. Advanced will assist the City with this process to ensure all items are <br />documented through the Issues Tracking Tool. Deficiencies can be entered into the Issues <br />Tracking Tool by the City's testers or Advanced's testers, any users who are given access to <br />the system, and other personnel who may be involved during the Software Testing phases. <br />Advanced is responsible for fully testing and correcting any deficiencies found during <br />training. <br />City of South Bend, Indiana 36 <br />
