<br />AWARD BID — ONE (1) OR MORE, 2017 OR NEWER, TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK —
<br />SPEC AF (SEWER DEPARTMENT CAPITAL)
<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Truck Centers, Inc. d/b/a Hill Truck Sales, 1011 W. Sample St., South Bend, IN 46619, in the
<br />amount of $207,245 for the Base Bid plus Alternate Nos. 1-4. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a
<br />motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr.
<br />Mueller seconded the motion, which carried.

<br />DRIVE CHASSIS WITH DUMP BEDS — SPEC AK (SUBJECT TO STREET DEPARTMENT
<br />CAPITAL LEASE)
<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Jordan Ford, 609 E. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, IN 46545, in the amount of $89,978 each for
<br />the Base Bid plus Alternate Nos. 2 and 3, for a total of $175,956. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a
<br />motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr.
<br />Mueller seconded the motion, which carried.

<br />WITH QUICK RELEASE LOADER BUCKET — SPEC AH (DEPARTMENT OF
<br />COMMUNITY INVESTMENT CAPITAL BUDGET)
<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Bobcat of Fort Wayne, 3630 Goshen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46818, in the amount of $31,500 for
<br />the Base Bid plus Alternate Nos. 1-4. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Mueller seconded
<br />the motion, which carried.

<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Martin Country Chevrolet, Inc., 2705 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth, IN 46563, in the amount of
<br />$27,255 each for a total of $54,510. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Mueller seconded
<br />the motion, which carried.

<br />UTILITY VEHICLE — SPEC AI (SUBJECT TO POLICE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL LEASE)
<br />Mr. Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Hudak
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Jordan Ford, 609 E. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, IN 46545, in the amount of $28,913 for the
<br />Base Bid plus the dealer suggested cargo mat. Therefore, Mr. Mueller made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Dorau seconded the
<br />motion, which carried.

<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder

<br />amount of $227,916 for the Base Bid plus Alternate Nos. 1 and 2. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a
