<br />Attorney Fanello stated two bidders did not quote the Alternates so the quotes would need to be
<br />reviewed. Upon a motion made by Ms. Dorau, seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the above
<br />quotations were referred to Venues, Parks, and Arts for review and recommendation.

<br />Ms. Tara Weigand, Engineering, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Ms. Weigand
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />RAM Construction Services of Michigan, Inc., 13800 Eckles Road, Livonia, MI 48150, in the
<br />amount of $189,000 in unit prices. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Mueller seconded
<br />the motion, which carried.
<br />AWARD BID — 2017 DEMOLITIONS PHASE 2 — PROJECT NO 117 121 (EDIT)
<br />Ms. Tara Weigand, Engineering, advised the Board that on December 12, 2017, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Ms. Weigand
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Ritschard Bros., Inc., 1204 W. Sample St., South Bend, IN 46619, in the amount of $421,088 for
<br />Division A, B, and C. Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that the recommendation be accepted
<br />and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Mueller seconded the motion, which carried.
