Gentlemen: Oliver Farm Ecquipment Company will cause to be lea sed to the City of South Bend for automobile parking purposes, that certain vacant real estate lying 6outh of the Colfax Avenge bridge; North of Washington street, East of Mill Street and West of the West Side race now controlled by Oliver Fame Equipment Company, subject to an easement for ingress to and egress from the hydro -electric power plant of Oliver F,rm Equipment pCompany located on the resent west race. Such lease will be for a period of two years with an option to the lessee for renewal for an additional two years. The lease shall commence at such date in the immediate future as shall deemed desirable by the City of South Bend. The rental for such lease for each during the original and/or renewed term shall be Three Thousand Dollars (3,000.00) (the first two .years rental being payable in persona.ly property as hereinafter provided.) li The rental herein provided is net, it being understood that all State, County and Municipal taxes and s oecial assessments levied or assessed on account of such leased property will be paid by the City of South Bend during the period of its occupancy of said leased property.
