City Engineer, H. CT. Wray, filed the Final Estimate for the heavy traffic sheet asphalt pave: ent improvement on Yain L'treet from Fairview "_venue to the alley south of odds ide Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the Williston Oonstruction L'ompany, contractors, under Improvement Resolution No. 2226. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of ')26,I65.23 • City Engineer, H. G. `.gray, submitted the following report on the remonstrance filed against the improvement on Prairie -'venue under Improvement Resolution No.2.275: "Board of Public '{lor1.cs,. South Bend, Indiana. Dear Sirs: +ith return of attached remonstrance against the improvement of Prairie Avenu Resolution No.2275, I submit here:-iith the followi'.ng report: There are 75 resident fr- eholders, 32 of whop_; have properly signer. the remon- strance. Assessment roll for the pavement of Beyer Avenue from Eddy Street to Mishawak Avenue under Improvement Resolution Ne.225I. Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley south of Monroe street from Carroll Street to Ist. , alley west under Improvement Resolution No.2249. Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley north of LaSalle Avenue from Scott Street to Taylor Street under Improvement Resolution No.2237. Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley east of Lincoln slay East from .,'onroe Street to Arch Avenue una er Improvement Resolution No.2236. Assessment roll for the grade, curb and wal'c improvement on Campeau Street .from east line of Par- Place to 3arriett Street under Improvement Resolution TJo.2233. Assessment roll for the pavement of Bendix Drive from Division Street to Sample Street under Improvement Resolution No.2229. Assessment roll for the pavement resurface of VanBuren Street from Cushing Street to Portage rivenue under Improvement Resolution Xo.2I75. In all of the above named dssessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and no -written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shodw on said assessment rolls. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modifica tion and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the department of Finance. The 3oard approved the"uarantee Bond of R. "l. Reed & Sons for the pavement of the west 1 of Lrns-oerger Street u der Improvement -resolution No.2I76 in the amount of 459.29 signed by Southern Surety ompany. The Board approved the Guarantee .Bond of Joseph Bothwell for the local s ewer • ! improvement in Olive ''treet from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street under Improvement Resolution No.2233 in the amount of 242.39 signed by Columbia Casualty Co.
