486 <br />ednesday '�"vening, September 4th. , 1929. <br />This being the date set, hearing.was had on the assessment <br />roll for the p'Street from Mishawa'avement of 35th. , avenue to the 0. T. IN. R. R. <br />Co., under Improvement Resolution No.2195. <br />In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but <br />no .remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised ,in the premises, finds <br />that the several lots and parcels of land have been. benefited in the amounts named <br />on said primary assessment roil. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action <br />on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and <br />approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said <br />assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. <br />The Board approved the Continuation certificate for the <br />Bond of C. ;hil�.delphia. . Randolph in the amount of <br />Company of I,000.00 signed by Constitution Indemnity <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resol-a- <br />tion No.228I for the pavement of Liberty Street from the south line of Division St. <br />to the north line of Sample Street. (See files for co-,)y of resolution.) <br />In the above named improvement resolution, a written remonstrance <br />was filed by Walter 'R. Arnold representing thirty four property owners on said street..` <br />After hearing all persons interested in said resolution, the Board decides to continue <br />,hearing until September IIth., 1929, at !hich time City Attorney I. S. Romig will <br />advise the Board regarding the jurisdiction of said Board in the matter.. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolu- <br />tion No.2280 for the grading of the alley south of Donald street from Robinson Street <br />to 'Sampson Street. (See fil es for copy of resolution.) <br />In the above named improvement .resolution, no remonstrators <br />appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in <br />the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of 1�-nd liable <br />to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as, <br />reported by the City Engineer, and therefore, the Board takes final action on said <br />improvement resolution No.22S0 and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed <br />anal approved without modification. <br />In the above named improvement resolution, the Board, hereby, <br />orders that sewed proposals *rill be received by the Board up to I0:00 A. T'. of the. <br />I7th., day of September I929. The Board further orders that notices of said ropo-s- <br />als shall': be published on the 6th. day of September and on the I3th. , day of Eleptembe <br />1929 in the South Bend T1ews Times and Tribune according to law. <br />continued <br />Yids being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll <br />for the pavement on Chapin Street from north ine of Ford Street to the north curb j <br />line of prairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution 77o.2192. <br />In the above named assessment roll, a fear remonstrators appeared <br />and upon the request of of some of the property -)wners present, the Board decides to <br />continue hearing on said roll until Wednesday, September IIth., I929. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had_ onthe assessment roll <br />for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Malt Street from "Noodside Street to Dean <br />Str-et under Improvement Resolla.tion 7o.I847. <br />In the a )ove named assessment roll, no -remonstrators appeared <br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premis- <br />es, ta'ces final action on said roll and decl�.-^es sane in all things ratified, confirmed <br />and approved and the proceedings closed.
