486 ednesday '�"vening, September 4th. , 1929. This being the date set, hearing.was had on the assessment roll for the p'Street from Mishawa'avement of 35th. , avenue to the 0. T. IN. R. R. Co., under Improvement Resolution No.2195. In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but no .remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised ,in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been. benefited in the amounts named on said primary assessment roil. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. The Board approved the Continuation certificate for the Bond of C. ;hil�.delphia. . Randolph in the amount of Company of I,000.00 signed by Constitution Indemnity This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resol-a- tion No.228I for the pavement of Liberty Street from the south line of Division St. to the north line of Sample Street. (See files for co-,)y of resolution.) In the above named improvement resolution, a written remonstrance was filed by Walter 'R. Arnold representing thirty four property owners on said street..` After hearing all persons interested in said resolution, the Board decides to continue ,hearing until September IIth., 1929, at !hich time City Attorney I. S. Romig will advise the Board regarding the jurisdiction of said Board in the matter.. This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolu- tion No.2280 for the grading of the alley south of Donald street from Robinson Street to 'Sampson Street. (See fil es for copy of resolution.) In the above named improvement .resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of 1�-nd liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as, reported by the City Engineer, and therefore, the Board takes final action on said improvement resolution No.22S0 and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed anal approved without modification. In the above named improvement resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that sewed proposals *rill be received by the Board up to I0:00 A. T'. of the. I7th., day of September I929. The Board further orders that notices of said ropo-s- als shall': be published on the 6th. day of September and on the I3th. , day of Eleptembe 1929 in the South Bend T1ews Times and Tribune according to law. continued Yids being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the pavement on Chapin Street from north ine of Ford Street to the north curb j line of prairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution 77o.2192. In the above named assessment roll, a fear remonstrators appeared and upon the request of of some of the property -)wners present, the Board decides to continue hearing on said roll until Wednesday, September IIth., I929. This being the date set, hearing was had_ onthe assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Malt Street from "Noodside Street to Dean Str-et under Improvement Resolla.tion 7o.I847. In the a )ove named assessment roll, no -remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premis- es, ta'ces final action on said roll and decl�.-^es sane in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.
