4-7 ' Tuesday, August 27th. , T929. Final action on said vacation resoletions, and declares same _in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board now orders that lists or rolls be prepared of all oirners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken which list or roll shall also describe the property benefinially affected by such vacations. City Migineer, R. G. Wray, filed the following primary assessment rolls: Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley east of Tincoln `Jay Last from Yonroe Street to Arch Street under..Improvement Resolution No.2236. Assessment roll for the pavement of Chapin Street from the north line of -Ford Street to the north curb line of Prairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 2192. Assessment roll f-or the pavement of 35th. , Street from Kishawaka Avenue to G. T. 7. R. R. Co., under Improvement Resolution No.2I95. In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board, hereby orders that on the 4th. , daTr of September 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been benef ited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls or in a greater or less sum than that named on said rolls. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 30th., day of August and on the 31st. day of August I929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Edward Di Julio for the sewer improvement on Fremont Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street under Improvement ;l _R'e;solution No.2I8I in the amount of 281.14 signed by Standard Accident Insurance Co. in The Board approved the continuance bond of Harry D. Perkins Company for ,Excavation in the amount �I,000.00 signed by United States Fidelity PC Guaranty Co. f The Board signed the contract with Rieth Riley Construction Company for the pavement of Fox Street from the west line of Sampson atree t to the west line of Ironwood Drive under Improvement Resolution No.2278 in the amount of IN 084.95. The 11 Board also approved the construction bond of same in the amount of 50,E of the contract 11. 'price signed by Southern Surety Company. City J gineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimate and the Board adopted Improvement Resolution 'No.2288 for the grading of the alley South it of Victoria Street from all east of Miami Street to Clyde Street. alley y (See fills for copy of resolut ion-. ) In the above named improvement Resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that. on the I7th. , day of September I929-; this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at I0:00 A. M. to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several; ?i lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to ii the estimated_ cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. I� This indenture made in the City of South Bend, Bounty of St. Joseph and State of Indiana, 41ITTNESSETH That Fniereas, the City of South Bend has heretofore construct&d a sewer in I what is known as Twenty Second Street from Jefferson Boulevard Southerly; and is Whereas, the said City has heretofore and after the construction of said sewer varies the course of said Twenty-second between the ^rand Trunk 1.7estern Railroad right of way and the said Jefferson Boulevard by veering the same to the west of its original location; and i4 71hereas, the said City has vacated the portion of said Twenty -Second Street, which l&es between the Southerly line of said Jefferson Boulevard and the j point of connection between said original Twenty-second Street and its present location as changed and by such vacation the said portion of said Twenty-second Street reverts It to the abutting property owners.
