4-7 <br />' Tuesday, August 27th. , T929. <br />Final action on said vacation resoletions, and declares same _in all things ratified, <br />confirmed and approved. The Board now orders that lists or rolls be prepared of all <br />oirners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken <br />which list or roll shall also describe the property benefinially affected by such <br />vacations. <br />City Migineer, R. G. Wray, filed the following primary assessment rolls: <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley east of Tincoln `Jay Last <br />from Yonroe Street to Arch Street under..Improvement Resolution No.2236. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Chapin Street from the north line of <br />-Ford Street to the north curb line of Prairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. <br />2192. <br />Assessment roll f-or the pavement of 35th. , Street from Kishawaka Avenue to <br />G. T. 7. R. R. Co., under Improvement Resolution No.2I95. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board, hereby orders that <br />on the 4th. , daTr of September 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />Hall at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and <br />parcels of land have been benef ited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls or <br />in a greater or less sum than that named on said rolls. The Board further orders that <br />notices of said hearings shall be published on the 30th., day of August and on the 31st. <br />day of August I929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Edward Di Julio for the sewer <br />improvement on Fremont Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street under Improvement <br />;l _R'e;solution No.2I8I in the amount of 281.14 signed by Standard Accident Insurance Co. <br />in The Board approved the continuance bond of Harry D. Perkins Company <br />for ,Excavation in the amount �I,000.00 signed by United States Fidelity PC Guaranty Co. <br />f <br />The Board signed the contract with Rieth Riley Construction Company for <br />the pavement of Fox Street from the west line of Sampson atree t to the west line of <br />Ironwood Drive under Improvement Resolution No.2278 in the amount of IN 084.95. The <br />11 <br />Board also approved the construction bond of same in the amount of 50,E of the contract <br />11. 'price signed by Southern Surety Company. <br />City J gineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimate and <br />the Board adopted Improvement Resolution 'No.2288 for the grading of the alley South <br />it <br />of Victoria Street from all east of Miami Street to Clyde Street. alley y (See fills for <br />copy of resolut ion-. ) <br />In the above named improvement Resolution, the Board, hereby, orders that. <br />on the I7th. , day of September I929-; this Board will meet in their office in the City <br />Hall at I0:00 A. M. to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />may be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several; <br />?i lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to <br />ii the estimated_ cost of same as reported by the City Engineer.
