<br />side of said vac-ed portion of Twenty-second Street, do hereby grant and convey to
<br />;:said .City an easement, in and over the following described portion of said vacated
<br />'1 street : A strip of land twenty (20 t) feet wide, ten (TO') feet on each side of the
<br />center line of the above named vacated street, for the said sexier and do further grant
<br />unto said City the right and permission, at all times, to enter upon said premises
<br />for the purpose of maintaining, repairing and looking after the said portion of said
<br />sewer so situate in the said vacated portion of said Twenty Second Street, together
<br />with the right to do all things necessary and proper for the maintenance of said sewer,

<br />for the pavement of Fox Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between
<br />the City and Rieth Riley construction Company, Contractors, under Improvement Resolu-
<br />tion 7o.2224. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 4I4,446.09.
<br />The Board pay roll claims far various Departments in the amount of tT5,015.58.
<br />The Board approved the p r roll claim for Traci,. Elevation (fork in the amount
<br />';of 433.33 and hereby orders the ity "ontroller to pV same out of Track Elevation
<br />Fund.
<br />The Board approved a claim of the Rieth Riley Construction Company for
<br />'extra work performed regarding Improvement Resolution 1,To.2I25 in the amount of
<br />12,572.45 and hereby orders the City Oontroller to pay same out of Track Elevation
<br />'I fund .
<br />The Board, hereby, orders that sealed proposals vlill be received for the
<br />collection and disposal and the collection only of Garbage in the City of South Bend
<br />up to I0:00 A. V., of the IOth., day of September I929. The Board.further orders
<br />that notices of said proposals shall be published in the South Bend News Times and
<br />Tribune on the 30th., day of August and on the 6th., day of September 1929, according
<br />to law.
<br />This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the
<br />lighting of certain street, boulevards and public places in the City of South Bend
<br />in accordance with the plans and specifications thereof heretofore adopted by the
