<br />TJpon the recommendation of ,71m., F. �Zual.ls, the Board ordered the
<br />installation of the. following street lights:
<br />I, 2500 lumen light at lioodlawn and Berkley
<br />I, 2500-lumen light, at Woodlawn and Hollywood
<br />I, 2500 lumen light,at Oakwood and Berkley
<br />I, 2500 lumen. light at Oakwood and Hollywood
<br />Ill of the -above lights to be at a cost of 35.00 each per year,
<br />f%ity engineer, A. G. Wray # filed plans, specifications and estimate
<br />and the Board adopted said plans and spedifieat ons together with Improvement esolutio4
<br />No 227I for the pavement of Bendix Drive from" the south line, of Linden Avenue to the
<br />south line of Bertrand Street.
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, property owners waived
<br />all right of objection on and in defense to any defect in said proceedings and to any
<br />violation in procedure for the construction of said street improvements as fixed by
<br />law, whereupon the Board, received, opened and read the following proposals for the
<br />construction of said improvement:

<br />City Engineer, H. G. wrwr, filed plans, specifications and estimate
<br />and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with Improvement Resolu-
<br />tion No.2272 for the Eckman Street Sub -trunk .Sewer. (See files for copy of resolution.).
<br />In the above named improvement resolution., the Board hereby orders
<br />that on the 7th. , day of August, -I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City
<br />Ball at 7-I5 P. M., to -hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
<br />is liable to be assessed ,for said improvement and will decide whether the special benefits
<br />that will accrue to the property liable to be assessed, wlrl'begequal to the estimated
<br />cost -of said sewer as reported by the City Engineer, The Board further orders that
<br />notices of said hearin shall be published on the 26th.

<br />Imp ovement Resolution No.2?75 for the pavement of Prairie Avenue
<br />from east curb line of ebster Street to Grant street. (See files for copy of resolution.
<br />In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby
<br />orders that on the 2Ist., day of August I929, this Board will meet intheir office in
<br />the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property is liable to be assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the
<br />benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to
<br />the estimated costs --of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders '!
<br />that notices of said hearirtgs shall be mblished on the 2nd. , day of August and on the
<br />9th. , day of August I929, in the outh Bend hews Times and Tribune according to law.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was. had on the assessment roll for
<br />the sewer ,.and pavement improvement in Lincoln Terrace bddition under Improvement Revolu�
<br />Lion No.2102.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but no
<br />written remonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested in
<br />said assessment roll decides to modify said primary roll by doubling the assessments ifl
<br />on all corner lots which were paved on two sides and reducing the assessments on all
<br />other lots proportionately. With this modification, the Board finds that the several
<br />lets and parcels of have been benefited in the amounts shown; on said modified assessment
<br />roll and therefore. the Board decides to take final action on said modified roll and
<br />declares same n`all things ratified, confirmed and, approved as modified and the proceed-"
<br />ings closed.. The Board now 'orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of
<br />Finance.
