All members present. rinutes of i meetings held July 23rd. , and July 24th. , 1929, read and approved. The Board signed the contract with Albert Construction Company for the pave- ment improvement on Bendix Drive from the south line of Linden Avenue to the south line ,of Bertrand Street under Improvement Resolution No.227I in the amount of $13,I38.I0. The Board also approved the construction bond of same in the amount of 50%o of the contrae price signed by Inland Bonding Company. The Board signed the contract with Hoban and Roach f nr the pavement of the alley east of Lincoln Way East from Monroe Street to Arch Avenue under. Improvement Resolution No.2236 in the amount of $1%858.35. The Board alsoryapTroved the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price signed by Southern Surety Company. The Board approved and accepted deeds from the Bendix Realty Company and from ,the Votor Industries Company for land necessary for the widening of the pavement on Bendix Drive under Improvement Resolution No.2271s and the Board hereby orders clerk to have same recorded. This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the following improvements: Bids for the pavement of Foster Street from Howard Street to a point 9.75 feet south of the north line of It.
