<br />P Ewing Avenue to Calvert Street .under Improvement
<br />Resolution No.2178.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, one remonstrator appeared but no
<br />written remonstranees were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
<br />Finds that the several lots and parcels of land -primarily assessed for said improvement
<br />have been benefited in the amounts named on said primary roll. The Board, therefore,
<br />'! decides to take final. acti on on saki _assessment roll and declares same in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The
<br />;i Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of. Finance.

<br />Bids having been received for the pavement of Douglas Street from Dubail
<br />I• Avenue to Bruce street under Improvement Resolution No.2252, the Board this 24t., day
<br />Of 11uly 1929, hereby makes a preliminary order for light traffic concrete pavement as
<br />the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and -sets the 6th. , day
<br />Of August 1929, as the time when said Board shall either pass on petitions for a change
<br />in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order, award the.
<br />contract or reject all bids.
<br />Bids having been received for the pavement of Wilber Street from Lincoln
<br />Way, West to Elwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2253, the Board this 24th. ,

<br />a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in' the preliminary order,

<br />Bids having been received fvr the grade, curb and walk improvement on .Grant j
<br />Street from Washington Avenue to ?= erry* Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 2250, the
<br />Board this 24th. , day of July I929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to
<br />Eston Ball at his bid of 785.I0.
<br />This being the date sett continued hearing was had on Improvement Resolution.
<br />No.2246 for the pavement of Libert treet from the south line of Division Street to the
<br />north line of Sample Street. (See files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above named improvement restolution a written remonstrance eras filed
<br />and the Board after hearing all persons interested in said improvement and being fully
<br />advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of I
<br />land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the. estimated cost' of
<br />ii same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board therefore decides to take final action!
<br />on said resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />The Board now orders said remonstrance delivered to the Department of Engineering for
<br />a check on the resident property owners..
<br />In the -matter of the pavement of Liberty street under Improvement Resolution)
<br />No.2246, the Board orders that on the 6th. , day of August, I929, they will receive, open
<br />and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement up to I0:00: A. X, - Th
<br />Board farther orders that notices of said proposals shall -be published i the -26th- �i
