<br />of north line of at. Vincent Street. ( See files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises
<br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parce'_s of land liable to be assessed
<br />for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
<br />City f ngineer. • The Board therefore decides to ta'ie final action on said resolution
<br />and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution

<br />orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the I9th. day of July and
<br />on the 26t1i. , day of July I929 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to
<br />law.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.
<br />j 2255 for the pavement of Thirty-first Street from TlUshawa'ca Avenue to Pleasant Street.

<br />In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared and
<br />a written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being Hilly advised in the premises,
<br />decides to over rule said written remonstrance and finds that the benefits to the
<br />several lots and parcels of lmnd liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal
<br />to .the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore,
<br />ta'lces final action on said improvement resolution No.2255 and declares same in all things'
<br />ratifi ed, confirmed and approved. The Board orders said remonstrance delivered to
<br />City Engineer for report on the resiz3--nt property owners who have signed said remonstrance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.
<br />2254 for the pavement and widening of dine Street from the south curb line of Lincoln
<br />Way East to mitring Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared
<br />protesting against this improvement and the Board after hearing all persons interested
<br />in said improve -rent resolution, decides to continue hearing on same until July 3Ist.,
<br />I929, at 7-I5 P. fT• .
<br />-On the recommendation of City -ttorney, I. S. Romig, the Board signed
<br />a contract with C. D. ?iildebrRnd in the matter of the condemnation of property on
<br />Sample and Fellows 'streets under Condemnation resolutions No.2I97 and 2198, in which
<br />the city agrees to construction pavement, sewer and water connections, sidewalk and
<br />curb and that no assessments will be rude against said, .Hild.ebrand.
