Vasquez, Member <br />Also presented from Chief Boykins to the Board for approval was a list of First Class Patrol Officers <br />that will become Second Class Patrol Officers effective the I st of January, 2010. Upon a motion by <br />Mr. BonDurant, seconded by Ms. Vasquez and carried, the reassignments were approved effective <br />January 1, 2010 pursuant to Chief Boykins letter, <br />RESOLUTION NO. 63-2009 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 57-2009 TO CORRECT THE 2010 <br />HOLIDAY SCHEDULE FOR THE SOUTH BEND POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is empowered by <br />law to establish rules and regulations for the South Bend Police Department: and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of South Bend that the Police Department <br />holidays be set with certainty, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Safety of the City of South <br />Bend: <br />SECTION 1. That for all sworn police officers who are assigned to work as their regular <br />schedule, 5 on and 2 off, Monday through Friday, the following holidays shall apply: <br />SECTION 11.
