Additional security measures include; <br />• Outdoor lot and premises are surround by six foot security fencing with wire. <br />• Lot gates are electronic and can only be opened by authorized employees. <br />ASAP understands the importance of good communication and agrees to the RFP communication outline and guidelines. <br />Under the guidelines of the RFP, the company agrees should three attempts be made to contact ASAP Towing & <br />Recovery without success, the City has the right to contact another towing company. To avoid this type of error ASAP <br />works with a rolling land line, cell phone communications, as well as a back-up answering service in case of emergencies <br />that could interrupt communications between itself, the City of South Bend Police Department, customers, and tow <br />vehicle drivers. <br />Continuous communication is held between the dispatch office and drivers via a rolling land line at the base <br />station office (2010 S. Olive Street) and communicates with each of the five drivers via company cell lines. <br />During evening hours when the office is not manned, calls are dispatched by the office answering service. Calls <br />to the mainline land line office phone are forwarded to the answering service and calls are then dispatched to <br />the drivers via company cell phones <br />In case of emergency, if main office phone lines are down — the company has set up an automatic forward and <br />calls will be answered and dispatched via the company answering service. <br />`s''fn N,u--1E 4n- n } 3' r�k Cl 11E"'.hiCE"..', <br />Per resolution requirements, ASAP hours for payment and release of vehicles include the following times: <br />a. 8am — 6pm Monday through Friday <br />b. 8am —12 pm Saturday <br />c. Sundays, holidays, and after hours pick-up can be made by appointment and an additional fee of $50.00. <br />Hours of operation, as well as, after hours contact information signs are clearly posted on entry doors of both <br />locations. <br />® Procedures for payment and release of impounded vehicles is as follows: <br />Upon owner obtaining a release form from the police station and presenting it to ASAP, we will ask for a valid photo id. <br />(Driver's license, passport, or state issued id) we will compare the paperwork to the release form and registration. We <br />will make copies for our files of the release form, photo id and registration. The invoice will then be presented for <br />payment and signature of the owner. Forms of payment for a vehicle requiring a police release will be cash and or <br />credit/debit card. No personal checks will be accepted. After payment is received the owner will be provided a receipt <br />and escorted to their vehicle. <br />ASAP Towing & Recovery as well as all employees of the company agree to and shall be available for inspection should <br />the City make the request; and subject to random inspections to ensure quality performance. <br />
