4. Engineer shall survey project location and provide one set of original field notes, all field <br />survey data collected via electronic medi, and one set of master drawings. Engineer shall <br />obtain section corner, right of way, easement. Work will be carried out in Indiana <br />Geospatial Coordinate System, St. Joseph projection. Vertical control will be in NAVD <br />1988 via Opus. <br />5. Electronic files shall be prepared and submitted by Engineer, <br />a. Finished plan view of topographic survey in .dwg format <br />b. 1-foot contours <br />c. TIN derived from Civil 3D in .xml format <br />d. Survey book in pdf format. <br />6. Obtain last deed of record, subdivision plats, and section or auditor plats for all properties <br />within the project limits from local and state agencies. The property information shall <br />include parcel number, property owner's name, mailing address and property location. <br />Engineer shall provide a listing of all property information, deeds, plats, and maps. <br />7. Send out survey notices to all property owners within the project area after approval by <br />the Owner. <br />8. Establish Primary Horizontal Control within project limits suchthat survey base line(s) <br />can be restablished during construction. The Allen County Zone of the Indiana Geospatial <br />Coordinate System will be used. <br />9. Locate NGS, DNR or INDOT benchmarks and transfer elevation to site. Set temporary <br />bench marks within project limits such that elevation dtum can be re-established during <br />construction. <br />10. Tie in the survey base Iines to available USPLSS section corners and/or existing <br />property/tight of way monumentation. <br />11. Re-establish existing roadway alignments from plans for previous projects. <br />12. Plot right of way and property lines based on observed physical evidence and record <br />documents acquired from local government agencies. <br />13. Co-ordinate with all utility companies to locate and mark their utilities in field. Engineer <br />shall notify utilities via the call before you dig notification (Indiana Underground Plant <br />Protection Service, IUPPS). The existing utilities marked at the time of survey shall be <br />incorporated in to the design survey. <br />14. Perform design survey in sufficient detail to obtin topographic data, utilities, buildings, <br />walls, signs, vaults, and natural and man-made features, as evidenced by facilities at the <br />ground surface and marks by others, including trees, 6 inches in diameter and larger, <br />identified by size.
