<br />Final estimate -of f the Improvement No:. 2221 ?cnoirm as the pavement on
<br />the south one half of Humboldt Street from Bendix give to a point 175.8 feet west,
<br />authorized by the resolution of the Board of Public Works adopted on the 30th.,
<br />of April 1929 and signed by the Board of Public Works on the part of the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana, and by the 71illiston Construction Company as contractor. Said
<br />pavement has been completed in accordance with the above mentioned contract and
<br />resolution, and the Final estimate is as follows, to -wit:

<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution
<br />No.2248 for the construe ion of grade and sidewalk on LaSalle Avenue from east curb
<br />line of ^,ddy Street to the west line of Lot33 Kuhn's Ist. , Sunnyside Sub -division.

<br />In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
<br />premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable
<br />to be asseseed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as
<br />reported by the City Civil 4igineer. The Board, therefore, decides to t a?ce final
<br />action on said Improvement Resolution and declares same in all things ratified,
<br />confirmed and approved �FFlthout modification.
<br />The Board now orders in the matter of the above named improvement
<br />resolution No.2248, that on the I6th., day of July I929, this Board gill receive,
<br />open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement up to
<br />I0:00 A. _71. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be pub-
<br />lished on the 5th. , day of July and on the I2th. , day of July I929, in the South:
<br />Bend News Times and Tribune according to law.
<br />City Engineer, H. G. "fray, filed plans, specifications and estirra.te
<br />and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with a resolution for
<br />the pavement of the alley south of Division atreet from Scott -Street tp Chapin
<br />Street under Improvement Resolution 1To.2257. (See files for copy of resolution.)
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, the Board hereby orders
<br />that on the 23rd. , day of July I929, this Board will meet in their office in the
<br />City Hall at I0:00 A. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
<br />property is liable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the
<br />benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said
<br />improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City
<br />Engineer. The Board further .orders that notices of said hearing shall be published
<br />in the South Bend News Times and Tribune on the 5th., day of July and on the I2th
<br />day of July I929 according to law and that notices be mailed to property owners
<br />according to law.
<br />Clilms amounting to *12,I43.89 for the various departments :rere
<br />signed and approved by the Board.
<br />City Engineer, H., G. '=dray, filed the tabulation of bids for the
<br />pavement of Bendix, Drive from the south: line of Division Street to the North line
<br />of SampleStreet under Improvement Resolution No.2229. Tabulation of bids is as
<br />follows:
