26 Wednesday, November 7th. 1928. This being the date set, ids were redeived, opened and read for the, -,grading of the first alley west of iami �treet from Vairview Avenue to cent-er li of-ist., alley south of Fairview and,for the construction of a retaining wall to suppett building, -under .Improvement, -Resolution No.Z130, Bids as follows: Gra ding Retaining wall E'ston Ball 1.00 100.00 City .4ngineer, H. G. gray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improvement Resolutions.: Imorovementt Resolution N .2156 for the local sewer in Johnson Street from ]31wood Avenue to Bulla Street. (gee files .for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution No.2157 for the local sewer in Brookfield Street frin Elwood avenue to Bulla Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) In both of the above named . improvement resolutions,property owners waived all objections on, and in defense to any defeat in said proceedings and to any violation in procedure for the construction of street improvements as provided by law. Whereupon, the Board received, opened and read sealed proposals for the construction of, said improvements as follows: Bids for the local sewer in Brookfield Street from Elwood Avenue to Bulla Street under Improvement Resolution No.2157. City `ngineer, H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the pavement of Angella Avenue from east line of Harter Heights Addition to Zeeper Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2127. In the above na•ned assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the I4th., day of November I928, this Board will meet in their office at 7-I5 P.M. to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has-been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said roll or in a greater or less sum than that named on said roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 9th. day of November and on the IOth. , day of November I928, in the South Bend News times and Tribune according to law. City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the sewer and pavement im-provement in Summit Place 5th., Addition under Improvement Resolution No.2078. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 21st., day of November I928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-15 P. TY!, , to hear and receive remonstrances from all x)ersons whose property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said primary, roll .or in a greater or less sum than that named on said primary roll. The Board further orders that notice of said hearing shall be published on the 9th., day of November 1928, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. • • •- • •
