Olejniazak absent. <br />Minutes of meetings held October 30th., October 31st., and November. 6th., <br />1928, read and approved. ji <br />The Board signed the contract with Alex Bukowski for -the construction of <br />grade, curb and walk on the south dide,of Division Street from Kentucky Street to <br />-point T38.I feet east, on Ford Street from Kentucky Street to Iowa Street. -on Kentucky <br />• Street from Division street to Ford Street in the amount of 3,003.37 under Improve- <br />ment resolution No.2148. The Board also approved the constrnetio# bond of same for <br />100% of the contract price signed by the United 6tates Fidelity & Guaranty o. <br />The Board aD= oved the Guamantee!'-'Bond of Hoban and Roach for the. pavement <br />of the Ist., alley north of LaSalle Avenue from LaPorte Avenue to Cottage Grove Avenue 1 <br />Under Imrrovement Resolution io.2II5, in the amount of 320.56 signed by the 6outhern lII <br />ety Company. <br />The Board approved the Gidarantee Bond of the Albert Construction,company for <br />the Tavement on 22nd., Street from Jefferson Blvd., to the. south line of Pleasant <br />Street under •Improvement Resolution No.2064, in the amount of 6,280.21 signed by <br />Inland Bonding Uompany. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of C. Reesh for the sewer in <br />Elwood Avenue from T,..,T,,dora Street to Huey Street under Improvement Resolution No.2084 <br />aighed by United States Guarantee Company in the amount of 322.58. <br />The Board approved the Guarantee bond of 4illiston Construction Company H <br />for the -pavement on Greenlawn Avenue from Colfax Avenue to Sunnymede Avenue under <br />Imp amount of <br />rovement Resolution No.2134 signed by Inland Bonding Company in the a <br />29963.440 <br />The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Tdward Di Julio for the sewer in <br />Huey Street from alley south of Frederickson Street t.o Elwood Avenue under Improvement <br />Resolution No*2090 signed by Tv"aryland Casualty o., in the amount of 556.78. <br />The Board approved the renewal certificate of 1hil Spromberg for the excavatioi <br />bond in the amount of I.000.00 signed by the Aletropolitan Casualty Insurance Co., of <br />New York. <br />This being date set, hearing was had. on the assessment -roll for the pave- <br />ment on Greenlawn Avenue from (;olfax Avenue to Sumnymede Avenue under Improvement <br />Resolution No.2I34. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that <br />the several lots and -parcelsof land primarily assessed for said improvement have been <br />benefited in the amounts named- on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, tak�,es <br />final action on said assessment roll and declares same in -all things ratified, confirmei <br />and approved and the -proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll <br />delivered to the Department of -Finance. <br />The Board hereby orders that on the 20th., day of November 1928, sealed <br />proposals will be received, opened and read up to 10:00 A. M.., for the construction of <br />the following improvemeAts: <br />Pavement on Sample Street from west line of Olive Street to west property line <br />of N. J. I. & I. R. R. under Improvement Resolution No.2T44. <br />Grade-.,. curb and walk on 35th. ' Street from G.-and Trunk Western Railroad to <br />-.1 line of Lots INC and 94 in B-61m t Addition <br />Nort on under Improvement Resolution No.2145 <br />_' <br />Way lest to <br />Local sewer in Olive Street from Lincoln WElwood Avenue under <br />Improvement Resolution No.2143. <br />The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on <br />the 9th., day of November and on the I6th., day of November 1928, in the South Bend <br />News Times and Tribune according to law. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution lo.21 3 5 for <br />• <br />the vacation of a portion of Division 6treet. (Jee files for copy of resolution.) <br />In the above named vacation resolution, no remonstr*tors appeared and no <br />-- <br />written remonstrance %,ua filed and 'U!.-e Board, being fully advised in the premises, <br />decides to take final action on said vacation resolution No.2153,. and declares same <br />In all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. <br />The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and holders <br />of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to be affected be <br />affected bys-ach vacation, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficia <br />affected. <br />
