This being the date set, ids were received, opened and read for the -grading of the first alley west of Y.iami treet from Fairview Avenye to center line of Ist. , alley south of Fairview arnd for the construction of a retaining gall to support building, under ,lmproveme s-Resolution No.Z130. Bids .as follows: Gra ding Retainingwall L96ton Ball I.00 200.00 City Engineer, H. G. 'vVray, filed plans, specifications and • estimates and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together, with the following improvement Resolutions: Im-Drovement Resolution N .2I56 for the local sewer in Johnson �treet from Elwood Avex-u.e to Bulla Street. (gee files .for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution No.2157 for the local sewer in Brookfield Street frin Elwood avenue to Bulla Street. (See files for Copy of resolution.) In both of the above named improvement resolutions,property owners waived all objections on, and in defense to any defect in said proceedings and to any violation in procedure for the construction of street improvements as provided by law.. Whereupon, the Board received, opened and read sealed proposals for the construction of. said improvements as follows: Bids for the local sewer in Brookfield Street from Elwood Avenue to Street Bulla under Improvement Resolution No.2157. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the pavement of Angella Avenue from east line of Harter Heights Addition to Leeper Avenue �' under Improvement Resolution No.2127. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the I4th., day of November I928, this Board will meet in their office at 7-I5 POK., to hear and receive remonstrances from all pe_^sons whose property has-been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said roll or in a greater or less sum than that named on said roll. The Board further orders that notices of said • hearing shall be published on the 9th. day of November and on the IOth., day of �! November 1928, in the South Bend News times and Tribune according to law. City i'�ngineer, H. G. 'gray, filed primary assessment roll for the sewer and pavement im-wovement in-iummit Place 5th. , Addition under Improvement Resolution No.2078. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 2lst. , day of November 3928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-15 P. M, 9 to hear and receive remonstrances from all x)ersons whose J. property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been or will be I benefited in the amounts named on said primary roll .or in a greater or less sum than that named on said primary roll.
