" • • • 0 • • is Bids having been received for the pavement of the Ist. , alley south of Elder Street from east line of 2nd. , alley west. of Carroll " Street to 2nd. , alley - east of Michigan Street under Improvement Resolution No.2036, the Board this I5th day of Way, 19280 hereby awards the contract f or said, improvement to E.. T. Traub erg at his low bid of 853.32 for light traffic concrete _pavement. City engineer, H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for theavement of the alley north of Peashway Street from St. .Joseph Street to Foster treet under Improvement Resolution No.2002. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 23rd.. day of May., 1928, this .Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-15 P. V., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will determine the question .as to whether such Lots or tracts of land have been or will be benefited'by said improvement In the amounts named on said roil, or in a geeater or less sum than that named on said assessment roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing on assessments shall be published on the I7th. , day of May and on the I8th. , day of May, I928, in the -South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. The Board approved a driveway for the Gafill Filling Station at the corner of Lincoln Way East and Sample Street, on the recommendation of City Bhgineer, H. G. Wray, City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estivate and the Board adopted a resolution for the pavement of the west one-half of Logan Street from b-ishawaka Avenue to the north end of the St. Joseph River Brid e under Improvement Resolution No.2063.
