<br />FINAL CONFIRMATION OF IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION
<br />For the improvement of North South alley between Michigan and Main Streets from West Calvert Street to
<br />Dayton Street by constructing a 7" concrete pavement under Improvement Resolution No. 2859, 1957, adopted
<br />August 5, 1957 and first confirmed on August 26, 1957. No written remonstrance or remonstrances against
<br />said improvement bearing the signatures of fifty one per cent or more of resident property owners on said
<br />street to be improved, having been filed within the ten day period following the date and time of the
<br />hearing on said improvement, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Improve-
<br />ment Resolution No. 2859, 1957, duly adopted by this Board on August 51 1957, and first confirmed on
<br />August 26, 1957, be and the same is in all things finally confirmed and the improvement is hereby ordered
<br />made.

<br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ADOPTED
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Pro-
<br />files, Drawings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and Estimates for the improvement of North South
<br />alley between Michigan and Main Streets from West Calvert Street to Dayton Street by constructing a 7"
<br />concrete pavement be and the same are hereby adopted and ordered placed on file in the office of the De-
<br />partment of PublicWorks and Safety. Sept. 9, 1957 at 10:00 A.M. (DST) is fixed as the time and the office:;
<br />of the Board as the place, when and where the Board of PublicWorks and Safety will open and consider bids
<br />for the above named improvements.
<br />The Clerk of the Board is hereby ordered, to give notice by two (2) weekly publications of the time and
<br />place, when and where bids will be received, opened.and considered for the construction of said work. Said
<br />Clerk shall state in said notices, that each bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid
<br />bond for above named amount, to insure the execution of this contract.

<br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION CONFIRMED
<br />For the improvement of Brookfield Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2860, 1957 adopted Augut 5, 1957i
<br />from Bergan :Street to 170 Feet South of Lathrop Street by constructing a local sewer. After hearing all
<br />persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the premises and the Clerk of the Board having
<br />shown proofs of publication of the notices to property owners and the same having been found sufficient,
<br />the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal
<br />to the estimated cost of the same as reporte d by the City Civil Engineer, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Improve-
<br />ment Resolution No. 28609 1957, duly passed by this Board on August 51 1957, for the above improvement,
<br />be and the same is hereby in all things confirmed for the construction of a local sewer on Brookfield St.
<br />from Bergan Street from Bergan Street to approximately 170 feet south of Lathrop Street.

<br />of 51 per cent or more of the resident property owners on said street to be improvement, having been
<br />filed within the 10 day period following the date and time of the hearing on said improvement, therefore,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Im-
<br />provement Resolution No. 28602 1957, duly adopted by this Board on August 5, 1957 and first confirmed
<br />on August 269 1957, be and the same is in all things finall confirmed and the improvement is hereby or-
<br />dered made.
