Cole & Son requesting permission to trim all the trees whose branches extend over Sample Street between the estreme limits of the above mentioned (Sample Street Contract No. 3) 1 j'contract. Permission granted. The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized to advertise for a snow loader and snow thrower for the Street 1 Department . jThe time now being after 10:00 A.M. it was so announced and the bids for the Parking Meter Department, Dog `Pound Department, Sewer Department, and Sanitation Department were opened and read. Proofs of publication were submitted to the Board with an affidavit from the South Bend Tribune signed by C. G. Livengood and ;'from the Record with an affidavit signed by W. DeCanio.
