Final Engineering will include the development of bid ready documents, and Construction Documents will include the incorporation of changes made necessary through the prioimg, review and op9mwo| process, Bid Documents will be distributed by the CITY to bidders once a deposit is received to cover the cost of printing and deiivery. If agreed to, an electronic PDF bid -set can be distributed to bidders; no CADD documents will be delivered to bidders, The intent is to use the CITY Standard bid specifications and provisions using electronic documents coordinated through ARC. It is anticipated that SmithGroupJJ,R will use the CITY Standard Bid Forms and General Conditions as the starting point for the bid documents, and will assist the CITY inmodifications hothese documents h3establish clear, consistent and relevant bid forms and general conditions. SmithGmupJJRwill assist with the packaging ofthe Nd harmo, terms and conditions and nomaoomry pricing fomms/dVoumentawi(h the bidding documents including drawings and technical specifications. The CITY will issue, manage and control:, the distribution of Bid Documents including any addenda and clarifications necessary through the pricing phase, S0NhGmupJJRwill attend the C|TY'spre-bid meeting, and will develop and distribute clarifications XoBid Documents that may berequired gs aresult ofthe bidding process, Smi0hGnoupJJRwill also attend the QTY's pre -construction meeting with the potential bidders, ifrequested. We will develop documents using SmithGroupJJR and/or CITY standards and format. Construction Documents will be distributed by the CITY procurement officer to the Contractor once the CITY has an Agreement in place with the selected Contractor.
