SMITHGROUP!yi <br />• Design Description — description of Seitz Park details and materials, as well as technical options. <br />• Basis, of Design Documentation. <br />• Schematic Design — building and site. <br />SmithGroup,JJR will conduct two design work sessions and two stakeholder presentations. The two work sessions, <br />will be with the CITY, initially to focus on goals, geometry and connectivity and the second to focus on materials, The <br />two presentations will be updates to the project — the first with the CITY leadership and the second with the CITY, <br />stakeholders and adjacent land owners and property users. <br />We will develop a Basis of Design document outlining the design and engineering parameters, for Seitz Park, and a <br />Design Narrative Description, that will describe the design of the reconstructed Seitz Park. <br />The site will be fixed as to materials and geometry, and grading studies and concept level utility routings will be <br />established to ensure coordination within the plan and the work being performed by Notre Dame, Rendered site <br />plans, site sections, building and site images will be provided to communicate the design of the park and facilities. <br />A schematic Opinion of Probable Construction Costs will be developed based on the approved Schematic Design, <br />and will form the basis of the subsequent phases of the project design, engineering, bidding and constructiion. <br />I a:l s k �: �Doomnentadoil <br />• Preliminary Engineering — Design Development, Opinion of Probable Construction Costs, Materials <br />• Permitting — Joint Permit Application, USACE/IDEM (if required), State and Local Permitting <br />• Final Engineering — Bidding Documents, Final Opinion of Probable Construction Costs, Technical <br />Specifications <br />• Construction Documents — Filinai Documents, Permit Coordination <br />Preliminary Engineering will include the technical details of the design based on the outcome of the coastal and, <br />geotechnical assessments. Throughout the Documentation task, we have anticipated weekly meetings to maintain <br />the project schedule, ensure consistent communication and allow for planning of the project progress in real-time. <br />Meetings with the CITY, City departments, state and federal agencies as well, as Mandl owners are anticipated.
