<br />need relocation or modification for the Seitz project,
<br />• Stormwater management for the park — it is assumed that temporary stormwater management, erosion and
<br />sedimentation control will be accommodated by Notre Dame's hydro project. The SmithGroupJJR team will
<br />modify the SESC and stormwater management, as needed, to align with the park's reconstruction.
<br />• Surface improvements, including walks, riverfront promenades, plazas, parking restoration, performance
<br />plazas and stage, seating, site walls and planters.
<br />• Furnishings, including railings, benches, trash containers, bike loops, bollards and lighting.
<br />• Plantings and landscape elements, including trees, shrubs, perennials and ground cover, and soft -surface
<br />stabilization. In addition, the SmithGroupJJR team will provide irrigation design for Seitz Park and water
<br />utility connection to existing infrastructure.
<br />• Buildings, including park buildings/restrooms/ad min istration/retail space, within the proposed park building
<br />and stage/canopy structures. The building required of Notre Dame has been sited, and a finish floor
<br />elevation established by SmithGroupJJR, The architecture, engineering and utility needs for this building
<br />will, be designed, and implemented by Notre Dame. Our Architecture Team will consult with Notre Dame on
<br />design elements to ensure the building meets the image expectations, of Seitz Park.
<br />• Miscellaneous elements such as screening, River Lights reinstallation coordination, riverfront promenade
<br />stabilization and railings.
<br />• Lighting design, including photometrics, compatibility with RiverLights and site lighting.
<br />The intent is that the SmithGroupJJR team will provide complete services through the implementation of the project.

<br />The Seitz Park Reconstruction project will include the following:
<br />Schematic Design Project Limits (refer to A ffachment Q)
<br />• Seitz Park Proper — including park areas comprising the peninsula south of the Wharf Partners development
<br />and Stephenson Mills Apartments, and open space located east of Stephenson Mills along the East Race
<br />from Colfax Avenue to the park proper.
<br />• Riverfront Promenade along the St. Joseph River, west of the Wharf Partners development, from Colfax
<br />Avenue to the park proper,
<br />• Gi,ntz Avenue, from Colfax Avenue to the park proper.
<br />• East Race riverfront promenade
<br />• Proposed crossing of East Race (for new pedestrian bridge) including areas south of AM General and the
<br />City -owned parking lot, east to Niles Avenue (no streetscape included along Niles),
<br />• Riverl'ront Trail at Colfax Avenue for proposed crossing. Area encompassed includes Colfax Avenue ROW
<br />located east of bridge and intersection of Sycamore Street and trail connection along Colfax Bridge to West
<br />Bank trailhead at Colfax and MLK
<br />• Improved connection along the East Bank trail along the river between Seitz Park and Howard Park
<br />Anticipated First Phase Implementation — DD through CA
<br />The project limits and boundaries for the tasks and phases beyond Schematic Design Tasks 1 and 2 will be
<br />defined once the project design and budget have been established.
